Big, dark, cold, warehouse with a ton of booze! I had a helpful guy tell me where some stuff was and check me out. I guess the disgruntled girl had the afternoon off. Tons of beers, a few I had never seen in any store before. And even with their good prices, I spent way more than I should have, and could have broke the bank! I’ll definitely stop in here every time I go to Santa Rosa from now on.

Well, what an unassuming place nestled inconspicuously in an industrial park. Dimly lit (which is good) warehouse atmosphere. Not pretty, but I don’t care. A really solid beer selection. Lots of international beers and North American microbrews. The only place I’ve seen Cuvee Rene in Cali as well as the only place I’ve seen Quelque Chose. Respectable prices. Their mead selection is limited. They do have lots of other liquors and wines. Definitely worth a stop. They do have some old bottles hanging around, though, so beware. 6 packs cannot be broken down, which sucks, too.

Industrial building hidden away. However, they have a relatively good selection, but have great prices. Nothing overly exotic, but pricing is the best I’ve seen since I’ve been in SF. Only big drawback for me was I couldn’t buy single bottles from sixers.

When I go shopping for beer at a place like this, I couldn’t care less about the service. Their service is horrible, and the place looks like a, well, a barn. BUT THIS DOES NOT MATTER! They have EVERYTHING you could possibly get in NorCal, at prices that beat pretty much any other place. I picked up some Double Bastard, a ton of Moylans, some harder to find Deschutes (Obsidian and Abyss) and some hard to find Belgians. And anything from the nearby Russian River is half priced what you’d pay at the pub.

This is a great store for all types of alcoholic beverages and they have a good beer selection. Their selection is overall the best in the North Bay (of the San Francisco Bay Area) as far as I have been able to determine and I know people come from all over to go here. They carry all the local beers - Bear Republic, North Coast, Moylan’sm, Russian River, etc., plus a great range of others from across the country and internationally, ith a large Blegian section, some hard-to-find British beers, and a nice German section, as well as cider ranging from dreadful to expensive and good. The beer guy is helpful and enthusiastic.

Light industrial building. Parking can be a bit tight when it’s busy. Tough to get a cart through the single door - when you expect the door to resist closing! Can’t even see beer upon entry. Overloaded with wine and hard stuff. But when you get to the right rear, it’s really interesting. More space for beer than Ledgers, less than Bottleworks. Lots of beer, and it’s mostly decent ales. Staff was willing to help - don’t know how useful it would have been. Had my printable beer list to go by. All the help needed. A goodly number of hard to find California ales, and some old foreign friends I’ve never rated. Worth a drive of an hour or two! Highly recommended.

Great place, but they DO NOT ship beer. I spoke with the manager, and he said it was illegal. Doesn’t make much sense as I can get beer shipped from a place in San Diego (South Bay Drugs & Liquor...I recommend them). The Bottle Barn sells styro shippers, so you can mail them yourself or check them as luggage (which is what I did). Selection was great IMO. They have a big cooler full of bombers, too many of which I have never tried. It was a bit hard to find the place, but well worth the effort. Wish they would look into shipping.

Pretty good selection, some hard to find bottles of Allagash. The cashier obviously hates her job and lets you know it.

Great beer store by SF-area standards (makes the BevMo on Van Ness in SF look like a 7-11). Very pleasant/helpful staff, good selection, and best of all they ship! Their price on Redemption was even cheaper than at RR. Was a little tricky to find, but worth it.

This is by far the best place I have found to buy beer in the area. It has a kinda warehouse vibe, in the middle of an industrial park. Beer selection is a little small...What they DO HAVE is worthy! Found the entire selection of Moylans, Marin, Stone, lots of Russian River, and others from the city! Also great Belgian & German selection as well. Very welcoming. Lots of wine! They carry a variety of styrofoam fine shippers at resonable prices. Best find on my trip to SF.
