This is definately a top notch place. I was overwhelmed as were others at the selection. There are vintages of most every beer in here and some rarities that few ever see! I spent a hefty sum in literaly no time, and definately plan to be spending more there.

Narrow and dimly lit store with its walls lined with coolers of beer and a small bar in the back. The selection isnít massive (though it is sizable), but it is well-curated. I spent quite some time browsing while sipping on a couple pints. The employee was nice enough but really didnít say much other than when he poured me a brew. I snagged some of the harder to find wet hop beers as well as some Oktoberfests I hadnít been able to find elsewhere. A nice store that is worth heading out to.

One of the places that really sparked my interest in craft beer. Bottle shop with several taps and you can hang out and drink your purchases. Great selection. Hope to make it back some day.

can have some markups, but Iíve never not been impressed with the selection when in here. kind of a dark and dingy place that can have great service or the same type of ;tude you get at a lot of tattoo parlors, but definitely a must hit if youíre close.

Been to this place many times now, and my experiences have been quite mixed. The good first or the bad? Start with the good. Nice location with great bottles, taplist, and always something new to try. They ate really good at the whole cellaring part as well, and will pull out some nice vintage bottles at all times. The bad side. Whatís with the hours? 8 pm close time? I have a job, and when they tend to release stuff at opening, itís never available anymore when I get there, and by the time I can get there, they are last call. The gelato shop across the street stays open 3 hours later than they do, on weekdays! Thatís the only major negative, beside the fact that some of the staff tends to talk to me like Iím a complete idiot. All the staff disrespect and horrible hours aside, I still enjoy this place, and will for sure look the other way to continue coming here and enjoying great beer and events.

Cramped, dimly lit, dingy little bottle shop on a small commercial area mostly populated by restaurants - all the beer is in coolers - surprisingly small selection, really - I went to a few other stores later in the day that had far more extensive selections - now, I supposed what is cool here is the knowledge the staff has, and they fact that they al so have a small selection of vintage beers on sale, some of which is highly sought after by some (barrel-aged Leviathan, anyone?) - so I guess thatís cool if you want to pay a ton of money for old, oxidized beer - they have a small tap list and you can also consume bottles there - the tap list was decent and the prices were not that bad, but itís not exactly a comfortable place to have a beer, anyway - the guy working wasnít exactly unfriendly, but he definitely seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else - not the world class place I was hoping for, honestly - seems like it was probably amazing a decade ago when craft beer wasnít so huge, but today there are more (and better) options out there.

With all the hype I expected a grand huge place packed with people. I was happy to find a nice quaint small place with lots of coolers, a few people drinking beer and a geeky staff. Nice place with a insane import selection. Lots of aged rare beers at horrendous prices. A good place I could spend lots of time in.

A long room, with shelves and coolers along the walls, a few tables and chairs in the middle, and a bar at the end; the light of the day doesnít come in, so the place is a bit dark, but this is in the interest of the beer. Itís possible to drink from 16 taps (no samplers/flights though) or fill a growler. The music is a bit too loud. Excellent stop for buying a large variety of beers.

From the outside (and hell, even from the inside) this place doesnít look like much.

Cozy neighborhood shop with a lot of coolers of beer taking up almost all the wall space. Thereís also a small bar at the back and some tables in the center. Beers can be consumed on site or off.

The service was very helpful and friendly to myself and all others in the store. The selection here is absolutely top notch. Of course, tons of great Washington beers offered. Great import selection of German, Japanese, and Belgian offerings. Lots of stuff from all over the US. And of course, the specialty beers made for them.

Not sure how much I can really say that hasnít already been said about this place...itís word class.

Pretty bad ass bottle shop with a nice tap selection and some nice hidden gems on the bottle list. Met some really cool peeps as well.
