Visited during RBESG’12. We had our own space here, and I didn’t walk around here, so can’t really say what the pub/restaurant looks like. Looks more or less the same as the second location though, only this place had multiple floors. Service was quick, beers were fine. Didn’t have any food here. I’d go to the Dunajska location.
This is a nice place, well worth a visit if you get the chance - been here three times I think. Their lager has always been top-notch, I didn’t care for the Dunkel as much. Food is pretty solid, I enjoyed the goulash in particular. Only real downside is the selection of beers, they could really branch out a little.
Quite nice brewpub on 3 levels. Everything seemed very modern and in good shape. Beers are quite good too. The selection is not very big though. Food was good and very tasty, portions were quite big too. Overall I liked it, recommended.
The brewpub is very solid concerning atmosphere, old heavy wood furniture as well as service and food. The selection is mainly if you prefer a pilsner or a dark beer (svetle or tmave) and which size of beer you want. Still a nice place to eat and have a beer or two.
A big brewpub in the centre of Bratislava. At least 3 floors full of small rooms. Quick and friendly service. 2 house brews on tap. Tasty food with local specialities. Hard to say which one of the Bratislavský Meštiansky Pivovar pubs is better... Maybe the Dunajská one.
Very enjoyable craft beer stop in Bratislavia not more than 2 blocks from the old town. The beer selection was nice...including 3-4 of their own. The two I tried were very good. The layout and ambiance is quite good with multiple floors...lots of wood...and interesting decorations, pictures, etc. One thing I will tell you...make sure you save room for the strudel that comes our warm with hot cherry sauce...excellent way to end the evening!
RBSG 2012. Clean atmosphere and clean beers. This place was located right across from our hotel and I bet would be a fun place to get blasted. Not quite as neat of atmosphere as the other location but the beers seemed to be in better shape. I would include this on a Bratislava beer tour.
