Ambiance - Visited just 30 minutes before closing time on a Saturday (so mid-day). Calm German brewpub but I suspect it gets crowded when open on evenings. Service - Prompt and fairly friendly. Selection - A couple of their own beers on tap. Had fairly high hopes for the quality but the beers didn’t live up to my expectations. Food - Did not eat. Value - Very fair. Additional comments - None!
Cleaner looking brewpub to the others I tried in Bamberg, which had the opposite effect. Beer mediocre, no food. Good atmosphere, though that was more to the Saturday arvo high spirits than the pub or the beer.
Un passage mal synchronisé la veille du lancement de la bock. Malgré tout, la sélection est intéressante avec la Weizen et la Herren pils entre autre. La cuisine est très solide, chaleureuse et bien exécutée.
Fair sized place right next to Mahr’s. Stopped in here for a beer only, the large garden out back was full of people. The beer really missed the mark for us, it was completely off, so it didn’t persuade us to stay very long. Maybe I need to revisit, but I’m not really tempted.
I can’t say Keesmann really hit the mark for me. Albeit, it was dead quiet and I popped in for a brief visit and there were a few old-timers inside sitting with their beers in silence. The beers are solid if not spectacular. Will give it another go on my return visit.
