Cannot compare with the old traditional brew pubs in Düsseldorf. Furniture does not fit for a brew pub and beers are below average. Rather stay in the old town and spend your time in Schlüssel or Ürige.

Visited this place 30/9-2012. Partly oldstyle / partly modern style brewpub, seems a bit like a place more for tourists than for the locals to come by. We visitet this place sunday for lunch, very busy and a bit stressed. Friendly staff, food was nice and the beers was ok, not anything speciel though..

Pretty much out of the way, but a pleasant surprise to find another Kolsch was on tap here, Worth a one of wander for completion, but not really a place to visit regularly.

Outside the tourist area. 4 beers from tap. Fine and friendly service. Great food. 4 decent beers. A fine Pils. But you have to catch a train if you dont have a driver.

Very nice inside, good selection, bit expensive but cheaper then its hamburg cousin. No where near anything in town tho, it is strangely located. it has houses all around. we walked from the alt town, which was a nice walk a bit far, but overall it was a good visit at the bar, nice to see it

Brewpub in the quiet Düsseldorf suburbs of Niederkassel on a distillery yard; nice patio, popular with bikers. That’s all! The beers are expensive and horrible, absolutely not worth a detour.......

A bit tricky to reach from the station as you have to take the metro and then the bus to cross the river, then walk about 10 minutes. A modern brewpub with a lot of charm. 4 good beers are offered.

Getting to this place requires almost an hour of walk from the train station, but to me it was worth it - and you don’t really have so many turns to take + getting around the other Düsseldorf pubs is only a matter of a few hours, so it still fits in a one-day pub crawl.. The beers are very refreshing afterwards and unfiltered to boot. Very fine atmosphere as well, delicate paintings related to beer and brewing are all over the walls - looking pastel-like and the work of artists. Actually loved the atmosphere, feels really in the country.

The last place visited while in Dusseldorf, it was hell to get to. If you’re in town on foot, and using public transit, it can take a while to get to this place from the altstadt - you have to take the correct subway line over the river to it’s final stop, then walk about 2 miles over a freeway and through a neighborhood in order to reach this place. They had three beers available during my visit, a helles, a dunkel and a blonde/pils. Quality of the beer was decent, but nothing special. Also ordered some coffee while I was there. They give you a dish of cracked barley as a snack on each table - tasted like grape nuts, very cool. The building itself has the classic German feel to it, it seems like a treasured place to drink for locals.

Modern brewpub, with beers of varying quality. Friendly and efficient personnel. Within walking distance from the Altstadt.
