Located inside the rail bridge at the busy Hackescher Markt, this spacious but cozy (save for the occasional train screech, that is) brewpub offers an agreeable refuge for the tourist. The staff are friendly and service-minded. The selection is okay for a brewpub: eight taps of own produce, including some traditionally non-German styles, like the IPA or the Imperial Stout. The quality is mostly tolerable but do not expect beer wonders here. Decent food. Rather fair prices, given the location. Could be back to taste more of their beers.

4 brews (hell, dunkel & weiss + seasonal). All OK, but nothing special.

Visited in September 2014. A large Brauhaus with a central location. They had four beers, one could order a "bierprobe" that cost 4.10 EUR.
The food was ok and filling. The service was ok although I did not like the comment "that tip is not included". I wonder if the waiter thought that I was an American?

We spent a good time there with my girlfriend, and tasted 4 kind of Lemke beers. There were not too much free tables in the evening, but I can’t tell any bad things about the bar. Correct, that’s all.

Brewpub in a central location of Hackescher Markt. Beers are solely from the brewery usually 3-5 taps. Beers are pretty average, the quality varies from batch to batch. Recommended to order a sampler before ordering a pint. Reasonable prices. OK service. The food was surprisingly good. Overall a decent place for the dinner.

A brewpub located under the arches of the railway. Friendly service who spoke english very well. The selections of the buffet was not that great but the food was ok and very reasonably priced. 4 beers on tap and all where in good conditions. A place I would like to visit again.

Davvero un bel posticino sotto i binari della S-bahn tra Alexanderplatz e Hackescher Markt. Cibo superlativo. Ambiente tradizionale e ben curato. Birre molto "tedesche", ma ho trovato anche una imperial stout decente.

We visited here on Friday 15th November 2013. We came here straight after the Brewhaus Mitte and I must say we really liked this place. Set under the railway arches this place actually occupies two arches, the bar serving area under one with a fair number of tables and chairs and the brewery is located under the other with more tables and chairs. I would suggest that this place could actually get quite a lot of people in here. Service was friendly and good although it was fairly quiet when we were there. Beers were much better than the previous place. I would imagine that this would be a nice place to eat as well. Its only 5 mins walk from Brewhaus Mitte and there are a number of other places quite close by also.

Lovely place under railways arches. We went through and enjoyed the beer garden. Started with trays of small amounts of each of the 4 Lemke beers (0.1 or 0.2L ?) and a little bowl of malts. Enjoyed all but the pils was a clear favourite (group of 7). Lenke Zwickel was sweet and hoppy.
