Nice place. Typical German beer food. Beers were nice enough, service was pretty good. I like how it’s tucked away from the crowds yet right in the middle of Berlin.

Visited November 2001. Took it more as a trendy spot for young people than a serious brewpub, but then again I liked it and it breaks the standard German brewpub mold.

For me the best micro brewer i visited in berlin. Friedly competent staff, good beers, sometimes rare styles too.

Rather posh brewpub with, for German standards, good beers. Friendly service and cheap prices. The most interesting brewpub in Berlin.

I loved the location of the brewpub under the S-Bahn. See the picture where a train (yellow/red) is rolling over the pub. Nice looking, cosy but clean. Very nice beers.

Nice ambiance. Located in the S-Bahnbogen it has a typical cellar bar atmosphere - but isn't smokey at all. Nice exposed brick walls and nice interior. The staff is friendly and did know what he was talking about. Food, also vegetarian food is available and looks great. They always have the Lemke Echthell and Original on tap and other brews monthly also.
