Mike and his family are world class people. The selection service and ambiance is the BEST in Charlotte. Love these guys!!

Brawley’s Beverage is the best store in the city. Even with it being quite a haul for me to get there, I would much rather shop here than anywhere else. No matter who is working the counter, you will always get friendly and knowledgeable service. The selection is 2nd to none in the state.

Mike is the sh@t for real. This guys is an OG in the Carolina beer scene, the first shop to open in the QC after the cap was popped in 2005. Big expansion is going on right now so big things for Mike and company soon. Always a friendly face and assistance available. Some of the rare releases will only be sold to regulars, but IMO thats how it should be at small shops. He only gets a very small amount of these beers, if you choose to by the rest of your beer at Harris Teeter and only come around for the one offs then good luck, support gives support end of story.

Brawley’s by far is the best place in Charlotte to buy beer. They are the first in the state of NC to get any of the specialty brews. They get all Dogfish, Allagash, Delirium, new Unibrew’s, ect products before anyone else in the state. This makes them the go to place. Unlike most package stores in NC; the owner, Michael Brawley, understands and has the knowledge of his brands in order to help you make the right descision. Not only is his selection vastly large enough to suit any beer geek, his pricing makes the trip well worth to Charlotte. Keep up the great work.

The owner was in when I stopped by (and his dog). The selection of beer was excellent. The service was top notch. The owner had an in depth knowledge (i.e. beer geek) of the beer in his store, and beer in general. Had some great recommendations. The free glass at the end was a definate plus. I will visit this place any time I’m around charlottle. A+

I was hugely impressed with this place. The owners appear to be the nicest mother-son team ever. A drunk bum wandered in and preceded to chat before stumbling back out into the street. Also the selection was fantastic. I will be back...down with Total Wines!
