Visited twice, once several years ago on the way to Carlsbad for Strong Ale and once more recently with womencantsail.

Several friends had been there earlier the same day the first time I went and told us to try the "kriek". I guess they werenít advertising it so you had to ask for it. After trying our flight of 8 house beers I spotted the brewer (whom I recognized from several beer events) and asked him about it. He was more than happy to bring it out. Nice people and not a bad atmosphere here. Unfortunately the beers are all kind of meh. Similar situation a couple years later but at that time it was late in the evening and the place was packed with bros and college kids. Not automatically a bad thing but yeah, if Iím dealing with that type of crowd Iíd like to at least have good beer. I havent eaten here. Prices are reasonable.

Quite standard interior, a bit loud music, but in general a nice place. Not all the beers very interesting, one of them quite butterscotchy, but probably the friendliest service weíve had so far on this trip. The (cute) barmaid even did a few free mead shots with us. Didnít get to try the food as we were still full after our visit at Beachwood BBQ Long Beach, but it seemed quite decent.

Good stop in the area. Only had the Double IPA, so I canít give too much info on the beers. The sandwiches and slices of pizza were great. The DIPA was too. Great bartender. Iíll be back if Iím up there again.

Good choice of quality beers. Locals friendly as are the staff. We had lunch and sampled several and appreciated the tip from staff that the double IPA was getting close to finishing and if we wanted it to order it sooner rather than later! Also one of the best pizzas I can remember.

Lots of beers on tap including about 12 house beers. Decent sized interior with some patio seating out front. Service was decent. Kind of a more typical bar feel than other brewpubs. The beers on the whole were disappointing. Just a few miles up PCH from Pizza Port Carlsbad, so it could be worth a stop if youíre in the area and not too hammered to drive.

Beers are average, the place does not have a lot of atmosphere.

A fantastic place to get a nice cold craft beer! the lineup of their house brews is diverse and has something for everyone, and these guys really do brew quality brews. They also has a very nice rotating guest beer list. I think there are 40 taps in total. Service is good, and if you like pazza or panninis, then you will like the grub. I visit a couple times a month.

What a rad beach bar. The vibe is busy and friendly. Service was helpful and prompt. Beer list is commendable. The house brews are solid, running a spectrum of tasty styles including a delicious sour ale. There are plenty of quality guest taps as well. I will be visiting this place a lot this week. I got a small pizza while I was there. Though not the NY style I usually look for, it was delicious. Great tasting crust and a heap of quality toppings.

Fun brewpub near the beach in Oceanside. All the house brews I tried were very good and they had a great selection of excellent guest beers on tap. Bartenders and waiters were very friendly and fast, great service all around. Menu isnít extensive, mostly salad, pizza, and sandwiches, but the food was good. Iím not sure how the music was controlled (by the employees or a jukebox somewhere), but at least when I was there it was mostly rock/metal and I loved it! Will definitely stop in for another visit when Iím in Oceanside!
