Mostly a restaurant. A decent range, quite a bit of Meantime available. Sat outside but did a quick tour inside. Seems modern enough. Close to the market and London Bridge, so a good place to take a short break before continuing on, but not worth a trip by itself.

Good range, but was a little disappointed with the recommendations I was given and the food. Better off walking a few metres down the road and going to The Rake, which is my favourite joint in London.

Modern interior and seemingly focused on the resturant part. Nice location just off the Rake and Borough Market. Staff was ok but didnt know too much about beer.

Update - February 2014. Brew wharf has ceased its brewing activities. What the future will bring is uncertain.
Original review from 2008.
Itís nice to have a new brew pub in London. Thatís the good news. However, its very food oriented (I havenít eaten there), their own beers are (so far) nothing special and it doesnít have a very pubby atmosphere. Doesnít really cater to the needs of the casual drinker. We observed that most of the clientele were drinking wine rather than beer, which gives some idea of what the emphasis is. But its just round the corner from the Market Porter, so you have to visit (if only once). Also has Meantime beers on tap and some relatively interesting bottles (including a few from Flying Dog).

Very large and spaced out area just 1 minute from the Rake and the market. Not sure whatís going on here, they have a bar, a brewery, a restaurant, a kitchen. Place is huge. But not well organised not a whole lot of comfortable seating. Beers are 8 Meantime keg lines (4 different beers) and 2 casks of their production their own beers make it worthy of a stop. Un-exciting bottle selection.

Just happened by this on my way to the Rake. Very close by but tucked in a little corner. The lit up words íbrewí caught my eye. A large place, very spread out. Mainly Meantime stuff on tap with the odd beer of their own offering. They donít do tasting trays or anything which is a bummer but oh well. Priced ok for the area. Service was friendly and very willing to chat. Nice place

Big noise place. Only 2 of their own beers on tap + 1 bottle. Several other beers on tap mainly Meantime. Service was almost non existing. Prices where high by UK standard.

Big and noisy place, but we managed to find a quiet spot in a couch between the bar and the restaurant. The service didnít know much about beer. The selection only consisted of two of their own beers on cask and a range of Meantime. Fortunately we were seated near two fridges where we managed to spot a bottle of their Reserve, which was really good.

A nice enough looking place, though perhaps a bit touristy. Good place in the Summer for a drink. Seems food-centric, but canít blame due to the location. Only two of their own in tap, more in bottle. Quite a bit of other local stuff on tap though. Service was nice until I informed them that I was only having a drink. Then it was still nice, but rather hurried. Again, canít blame them.
