As others have mentioned, BrewDogís original bar is surprisingly small. I visited at around 4pm on a Saturday and found the place a bit cramped despite having only 30ish customers. I imagine that an evening visit on a Friday or Saturday would be intolerable. The modest amount of taps here meant that the usual array of guest beers that Iím used to seeing at other BrewDog locations was pretty restricted. There were roughly 12 BD beers on plus a couple of guests from Firestone Walker and Stone. The BD beers on tap were fairly common offerings, so I ended up settling with a half of Dead Pony. Service was a bright spot. My bartender was very friendly, relaxed. Prices were OK for a visiting Londoner. Overall, the original bar has been exceeded by other branches (Sheps Bush, Manchester). If youíve been to a BrewDog bar before, thereís nothing really unique about this place that warrants a visit. However, it was still fun to check out the original branch.

Surprisingly small bar with the usual Brewdog bar tap expectation. Friendly staff, even drew us back from the door with the promise of Speedway stout.

About 9 BrewDog beers on tap plus about 8 guest taps. Some of the guest taps were stellar, such as Mikkellar Black and alesmith Old Numbskull. Bottles beers available too. Friendly, knowledgeable service. Pub is rather small, crowded and loud.

This is one of the best bars in Aberdeen. The selection is abundant with a variety of BrewDog stuff in both bottle and draught as well as a rotating board of guest beers. The ambiance is cosy, theres no TV so no need to shout to speak to your party.
Relatively speaking the selection is phenomenal as Aberdeen can be pretty uninspiring for beer at times, on impartial terms the selection is much the same as any other BrewDog bar.
There are some items of food on the menu, I havent tried anything so cannot comment. From a distance it looks good and the "gourmet" label is applicable.
A night spent in here will rack you up a considerable bill but they carry some exclusives which are hard to source so the prices are justified in those cases - BD brewery is less then 30 minutes away and one might expect the BD range to be cheaper here but it isnt.
Staff can be a bit patronizing at times - informing every punter, without prompt, about what makes a good stout and why you should drink IPAs.
With the arrival of a few other bars nearby; Iíd choose them over this place.

Visited on Wednesday and Thursday evening, both days were quite crowded. Most about 8 of their headliners and 8 guest beers on tap, more in bottle. Too bad that they dot have any of their special limited ones on tap. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Visited during Xmas 2014. The concept is nicely done, half of the taps with brewdogís own stuff, half guest taps, loads of great Americans when I visited. The prices are also pretty decent, at least half price of what Iíd pay in Norway. The service was very good, youíd get a small taste of the brews (without asking) if you wonder what itís like. The staff would also go to lenghts to figure out your questions, one of the guys spent at least five minutes finding the right pies and one of those Brewdog merch beer bags for me. The pies were awesome btw, try the beef.

Visited on both the Friday and Saturday nights of the BD AGM weekend, June 2014.
Small and compact compared to other BD bars but similar decor, clean and spartan, booth seating around the edges, high and low mix.
Good range of BD and guests on tap, service was really good considering it was choca full on our visits. Didnít really get chance to investigate the bottle list, was easier just to hit stuff on tap, some one off BA numbers from Oskar Blues were a bonus.
Overall a solid stop if youíre in town.

Good service, you can talk craft beer with them. They know their job and their products.
Good music with good clients around, no one yelling or else.
The food is nice. And there is guest beers in addition of Brewdog beers, thatís awesome. And itís not just regular beers, itís awesome ones!

2014-07-05. Very similar "loft conversion" stone and wood feel as the Glasgow bar, pretty cool graffiti style art everywhere, even more so than the other bars. Booths give some "private" space but it is all very open, most tables are communal style. Our lady bartender was friendly and helpful. Other hipster dude servers were kind of rude about stacking glasses around us, which suggests that despite telling us otherwise that our spot at the bar was likely in the way. We moved to a booth when one became available. Drinking a flight caught enough attention from the locals that a friendly stranger started chatting with us. Tap list had a good selection of BrewDog and guest beers on tap. Feels a bit more raucous and loud than the Glasgow and Edinburgh bars due both to the crowd of people and the openness of the place. I like it, its cool and has good beer but something about the overall experience grates at the cranky old man part of me.

One of the smaller brewdog bars, but they pack in same great service and selection, even though it was packed on eve of AGM.
