Visited on Sat afternoon in August. Situated 5 mins from New St station and opposite Cherry Reds. Standard Brewdog decor with modern look. Excellent selection of Brewdog beers and other craft beers from around the world. Typically pricey for the brand. I guess you pay for quality. A must if visiting Birmingham

Wide choice of BrewDog’s own beers together with an equal number of well chosen guests. My personal preference would be for a slightly higher proportion of quaffing beers on the menu, but that eventuality would be covered by many other pubs within walking distance. Bar is lighter & airier than I was expecting. Pleasant & efficient bar staff on our visit (16/8/14).

Suffers from the corporate feel all Brewdog bars have. You know what I mean, the "We’re punk and revolutionary and so so punk, yeah!" Even though in reality it feels like someone’s bought a piece of street art to hang on a London bank boardroom’s wall in time for a meeting of some local Freemasons. The City Broker that has a star tattooed to their foot because they’re a "rebel". That sums up Brewdog. The thing that sets aside Brewdog Birmingham from its other bars however, is a rare selection of wonderful staff and regulars. Whilst many of the original crew have moved on, you actually couldn’t meet a nicer bunch of people, and not only that, knowledgeable, in the main, and passionate about the good beer cause. Dan, Mike, James and co. should be very proud indeed. Lastly, the beer selection is as good as you’d expect it to be, you’ve just got to put up with Brewdog prices.

Great Beer selection. Can be a little overcrowded on the weekends. The food is OK, not excellent but good enough. Service is usually very good. Its hard to beat a dead pony after work in this place.

Typical BrewDog aesthetic, lovely people, gorgeous beers .... Starting to feel like coming home when I walk into a Brewdog bar. Perhaps the only bars in the whole world I feel completely comfy walking into all by my (middle aged, female) self. Always a joy, always something new to try.

Wonderful set-up with pragmatic use of space. Rustic feel with plenty of seating in from of table-seating, stools and booths, with more sedentary long-stay downstairs in form of a lounge with recliners, etc. Staff were very knowledgeable but couldn’t guide me on the pour of my Rayon Vert - it badly overflowed leaving me with 3/4 head. and 1/4 on the bar. Prices are quite steep and take-out beer is not worth the pretty penny they charge.

My first (and most likely last) visit to a BrewDog establishment. Friendly staff gave us three tasters and a guide to the beers on tap, all advertised on huge boards on the wall behind the bar: the prices put me off, but a pint of Fake Lager at £4.05 was ordered for me and I enjoyed it. Staff fine throughout the visit. Basic decor with school gymnasium floorboards in evidence all over the place. Not really my sort of place, too ’in your face’ and modern for my old traditional tastes. Don’t think they are aiming for the old CAMRA types though. Toilets and small lounge bit below. Seemed devoid of young beer geeks on the Saturday afternoon I was in, but they must have used the joint because there were no uber-strong beers left except TN Penguin. Food was good value though and my Bratwurst was very good at £5.00, the £7:00 Burgers also seemed OK, so credit where credits due.
