Decent option in central Edinburgh. Good range of beers, although little difference to the Camden location. Hitachino guest taps on my visit. Like the other BD bars, not much a fan of the industrial fit out, or however you want to describe it. It gets painfully loud in here too (damn, that makes me sound old). Didn’t try the pizzas but heard good things. Enthusiastic staff.

A nice place near the center, at least 8 draft beers, more than 60 bottles beers. Peoples are frendly, very nice place.

Great bar. Huge selecton of beers in bottles and on draught. Friendly knowledgable staff. Foodwise the cheese board and pizzas are ace. A bit more expensive than others bars but really worth it. Can get really busy late on. Highly reccomended

Easy to find with central location, however, still hidden away in a back alley of Edinburgh. No football, no Stella, no shots are the messages at the entrance to this medium sized bar. The interior decoration is simple and gives a punk-like impression. The draft menu contains eight of their own and four guest beers added by a rather impressive line-up of international craft ales. A place very much to my liking, and I stayed here for some hours eating and drinking. I had cheese delicately served on a platter and well-crafted, freshly brewed ales from BrewDog. Rather indifferent retro-rock music – strange that they don’t have a stronger punk attitude to the music. Service was alright – a tad better at the bar in Glasgow, though (visited 14.04.2012).

Great addition to edinburgh. no cask ales but always a good selection of home and tough to find guest taps, also a strong bottle list (i.e. not enough room in the fridges). Still, prices have gone up recently, decent value for draughts but would rather go to usa or netherlands than buy many bottles here (gone are the days of the £6 mooi en meedogenloos), knowledgeable helpful staff, patient even on friday evenings, but go earlier or mid week to sit down.

Small, cool bar. Was completely empty when we visited on a weekday afternoon, which I didn’t mind as apparently it gets crazy busy. Brewdog beers were good (hoppy as promised) and there were a couple of guest taps too. Bottled beer selection looked good with a few things I hadn’t seen before.

Visitet this place 21/4-2012 on the Garvie Family Pub Tour. This pub has a typical BrewDog Deco, very narrow and a bit noisy, but still a must-visit place whenever you are in Edinburgh and want to have some great beers. They have a nice selection of both own beers and guests beer like from Mikkeller, Nøgne Ø etc. Both on draught and bottles.

My first experience of the Brewdog vision of how a modern bar should be and I had mixed feelings. The stripped back, post industrial look is interesting, but having worked in factories for most of my working life, it didn’t make me feel comfortable or away from work. The beer range is obviously extensive, no cask beers, but kegged and pretty tasty, although really pricey. Seating was difficult, probably due to its undoubted popularity, we squeezed in with Craig, Benji and friends, but we could see that there wasn’t much room for seating. Overall I did appreciate what Brewdog are trying to do and I will visit others, but in the end I would prefer a homelier place.

This is an excellen bar. The drink selectuon is amazing and the staff are very cool. Its a bit expensive if you want to drink something special but its well worth the time to visit. Excellent beer

Very nice selection and variety on tap and bottle. One of my favorite bars
