Iíve been finding myself visiting this joint more and more recently. They went through a bit of a dull patch in terms of selection and service but itís pretty much back up to peak game. Guest taps are usually good but slow to change. Bottle selection is best in town although the good ones usually disappear quickly so a bit of a lottery what you might find. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a great addition to the Edinburgh beer scene, with 12 tap. split 6 brewdog core range 6 guest(either BD special or the likes of left hand mikkeller, and great divide) Bottle list is pretty hardcore for scotland with lots of good names like Nogne, De struise, and Mikkeller as well as onces from the US like stone and 3Floyds. Bottle prices are fairly resonable giving that many are specally imported (and that you are drinking in a Pub; so dont expect shop prices) but do expect to pay £12 for some beers.

I know Brewdog want to do there own thing, but once again theres no cask beer. I think this is a real shame and what stops this place from being a world class pub. When you deliberatly handicap yourself but not serving the kind of beer the UK excels at you exclude the possibility of selling some wondeful beers. This place could have been up there with the likes of Brasserie 4:20 in rome. None the less this is a great pub and im well glad to see it. Sadly over time the priced seemed to have creeped up and up

Was excited to go there. Really like BrewDog. But it was a disappointment. It was loud, cold and unfriendly. The staff was in a hurry and obviously did not want to spend to much time with the assistance. The beer was pricey, but the selection was great.

Was surprised. Felt a bit like a small, chainy grungy dive bar, if such things exist. Not a great atmosphere. A good selection of brewdog beers, but guest taps were lacking, and prices were a bit high. Many bars worth visiting in Edinburgh before this one. Disappointed.

Visited there 29.8.2014 friday afternoon. It wasnít very crowded and there was some place to sit. Taps were guaranteed brewdog, some nice ticks like ab14. Guest taps was little disappointment, like weihenstephan helles, WHAT. But really nice bar anyway and worth visit.

Nice pub. Ok selection of taps and bottles (Sco, UK, DK, US). Had hoped for a bigger selection of BrewDog beers. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ok prices, some of the BrewDog beers very overprices.

2014-07-10. Feels very similar yet different from Glasgow and Aberdeen bars. I like the booths here more than the more open concepts of the others, but it keeps much of the same decor and feel to it. Bar staff are friendly and did a good job of explaining the different ltd BrewDog bottles to me but why not have it on a board? Surprisingly few BrewDog beers on tap today. I guess they were doing a Stone promotion? Atmosphere wise I think I like it the best of the three BrewDog pubs we visited but the beer selection was a bit limited today.

Visited this bar twice during a recent stay in Edinburgh, both times on weekday afternoons when it wasnít very crowded. Iím not terribly familiar with BrewDog beers, but the ones I had were quite enjoyable, and much more assertive than most traditional Scottish beers. (I tried an RIS and a single-hop IPA.) The place has a slightly corporate feel to it and the staff were friendly enough but didnít seem to know much about beer. They could guide customers to beers of a particular sort and say something minimal about them, but when I asked questions, they had no idea how to answer -- for example, I asked where the single hop (Comet) comes from. Also, on my second visit, they were disappointingly out of almost all of their own beers. The staff said they were getting a shipment the following day! Overall a moderate quality experience.
