I visited this place twice during a weekend city break to Edinburgh. First visit was during the middle of the afternoon and the second wisit was in the evening on the following day. Thereís a limited number of diner-style enclosures as well as an outdoor íbiergartení with some tables, which is really only for the smokers as it lacks any kind of charm. If you donít manage to get one of the 10 tables or so youíll have to sit at the bar or stand. When we arrived in the afternoon we managed to get a table immediately and in the evening we had to wait around 15 minutes or so. We tried several of their house beers from tap and also had two pizzas for dinner once. I found the selection to be "standard brewdog++", which is good enough but nothing amazing. The prices were slightly high it being Edinburgh and all. The food was decent even if it took a while to have it delivered and the selection could probably have been bigger. I found the service to be good with attentive staff that was easy to reach and was also accomodating of special requests foodwise. I would probably go again when in Edinburgh if I were in the area.

Okay selection of food, not a place to eat your dinner though. But the chips was amazing! Good service, nice bartenders, talkative, friendly.

I really like BrewDog bars. This one is no exception. Nicely located in Old Town. Always great own beers and guest beers. Have some events like beer-food pairings etc. Will be back.

The feeling is the same when you go into a brewdog bar,so you know what to expect.Always a safe choice and a good place to drink good beer.Good line up of guest beers and some good bottle list.I recommend it to people that want to taste a different side of scottish ales.

Me and Loz visited here on Saturday 15th March 2014. This was my first time here but hey-ho its a Brewdog bar so you pretty much know what yerí getting. Polished concrete and a spartan uncluttered feel with a few sort of railway style raised booths. The bar is situated in a dark lower street the greyness of the local buildings perfectly suited to this place. I had an Abstrakt 14 Loz a Dead Pony Club (no surprise there then :-) ) the music featured the likes of Primal Scream & Massive Attack. The barman who served me was very pleasant. It was fine.

I ím not crazy about this place. The one time I was there the selection of beer (on keg, which is what I usually go for) wasnít really to my liking. Not a single stout and the best alternative I could find was boring. But then I was never a big fan of BrewDog to begin with. I found the music too loud and with the acoustics being as terrible as they are I had to struggle to hear the person talking to me from across the table. Not really crazy about the interior either. I probably wonít go there again even if Iím in the neighbourhood.

Industrial looking interior, helpful staff and good range of 6 brewdog beers plus 6 guest beers on tap, plus a wide selection of bottles available. Not too busy mid week, on the shortlist of bars to visit when in Edinburgh.

A well renovated bar on the cowgate. This place used to be called íShootersí and iit was hell. The interior is very hip now with reconstituted gym flooring as the wall pannels. Looks good. Iíd say that this bar was in no small way responsible for the advanced acceleration of Edinburghs beer scene. Itís so well developed now and I reckon a lot of pubs were forced to up their game when Brewdog hit the scene. The place first opened serving impossible to get bottles and kegs from Mikkeller and Evil Twin. It used to be unfeesably cheap. Things have changed quite a bit and the standard of the taps is definitly less impressive. They put on good guest beers but fewer jaw-droppers and the prices have become somewhat unreasonable. The staff have historically gone two ways; good guys and dicks. Brewdog really want all of their staff to buy in to their bullshit which means thereís never a shortage of jobsworth arseholes with dead eyes issuing well rehearsed Brewdog propaganda. "They are treating us well here", "we are being fed well and every morning we are allowed out of the compound for fresh air". The good guys tend to leave sooner than the dicks. Itís a good pub. See if you can spot the dicks.

My first visit to a BrewDog bar, at my visit I was the only guest, so I had the full attention from the staff. Nice bottled selection as well as all the BrewDog beers you suspect to find.
