Much the same as all their bars, quite quiet for a Friday evening when I visited. A bit off the beaten track, so perhaps not so surprising.

Since this was one of the first Brewdog bar opened tap offer is rather limited compared to the newer bars. However everyone should find something interesting. Modern, industrial decoration more or less like in other Brewdog bars. Although it is a bit out of the hand this bar is worth stopping by.

We visited Brewdog Glasgow on Thursday 18th June 2015. We came here after a wonderful visit to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum which is smack opposite. BrewDog Glasgow is situated about 6-7 mins walk from Kelvinhall subway station and The Three Judges public house, we took the subway from the Buchanan St subway stop near Queen St railway station. This Brewdog seems a little remote, though I am unfamiliar with the area so that may not be the case. It is mid sized corner bar with the usual Brewdog furnishings, to be fair it looked a little softer in appearance than some, there seemed to be a few more comfy seats here. The chap who served us was very friendly and chatty. I had a Fallen Chew Chew, Loz an Electric India both were good, I preferred mine though. They had 3 guest beers on as I recall with Fallen, plus the Fyne/De Molen collaboration, Mills and Hills and another. It was a simple layout, quite light and airy with large windows. We both enjoyed it here.

Itís a brewdog bar, so you know what to expect if youíve been to any of the others. Similar selection and pricing to all the others. Was tempted by the veggie haggis hotdog but didnít go for it in the end. Quite liked it.

BrewDog pubs are consistent, and consistency is a good thing, when youíre as good as BrewDog. This is probably the best location that Iíve visited as far as the actual layout goes.

Superb beer, excellent burgers and food in general (try the the Rosemary Fries), knowledgable and very friendly staff, and a great crowd of regulars. I will be going there every time I visit Glasgow.

2014-06-28. Mabel and I stopped in for a late lunch after visiting the Kelvingrove museum. We both had the "Pigs May Fry" burger (Good but overly large, and meat is more "minced" than we are used to in North America which I find interesting.) Delicious but we could have shared one instead of each getting one!) and some beer flights. The bar feels very modern compared to what we were picturing in the UK. We sat at a long hightop table. Servers were friendly. It was quiet when we first sat down and started to get rather busy shortly thereafter. Some seating outside as well. I liked it, the beer selection was pretty good in terms of both BrewDog options and guest taps. Some bottles are on the pricier side. We opted to take a couple bottles (Mix Tape and Cocoa Psycho) to go with us as well. Glad we went and would come back. It has character but not the sort of old world charm that say the Three Judges has.

Great selection of BrewDog and collaboration beers. The taster tray options were limited, and would like to have been able to mix n match. My only other dislike is their marketing and blatant commercialism. However the beers are outstanding, with great service from very knowledgable staff.

I liked this Brew Dog bar a lot. We visited during the day and it was relaxed. They have a free video game table with ten pages worth of oldskool stuff like Donkey Kong and Galaga. The beer selection was a bit dull with guest taps of Rogue, and bottles of Stone, etc. but at the same time there was enough variety to keep me happy. Friendly place.

After visiting quite a few BrewDog bars I feel that the Glasgow outpost is one of their best. We visited on a Saturday early evening to find it pretty busy, but still able to get a table. Inside its a decent size and quite light in comparison to the Edinburgh one for example. Extensive and well chosen selection of craft beer, probably 50% brewdog and 50% world-wide guests. Think Alesmith, Oskar Blues, Magic Rock, Cromarty etc. Staff were friendly and attentive. There was some live acoustic music going on also which made for a rather pleasant atmosphere. Great venue.
