Great bar to try some of Brewdog and Flying Dog beers. Bar girl was knowledgable and very helpful and the selection was good. Very young studenty crowd, ambience was a bit industrial and night club like which attracts a younger crowd which was good. The only dissapointment was that it was so expensive in there

Nice modern industrial bar. Nice selection of beers. Pitty there’s no chart of beers available. But staff is very friendly and helpfull in choosing a good beer (tasters from tap). Must visit bar when in Manchester.

Quite nice bottle selection and naturally a good selection of BrewDog on tap. Nice atmosphere and interiors, especially the toilets! Worth visiting when in Manchester.

Quite large and a bit industrial looking bar with a great beer selection. Sample trays were available both of their own beers and the guest beer on tap. Nice selection on tap and a great bottle selection. Friendly staff and a quite relaxed atmosphere.

this place has a hell of a bottle selection, but was really hoping for more brewdog stuff on tap .. . horribly expensive though (a sampler of 4 guest taps was 10 pounds) .. comfortable feel .. staff were good people .. . would have spent a lot more time at this place but i’m not a doctor or a lottery winner...

BrewDog Manchester’s a large, open-plan bar with an upstairs seating area. I liked the space, and found it generally inviting despite the spartan decor. I visited twice on consecutive Friday and Saturday nights, and was somewhat surprised to find it only half full on both occasions. The service was actually quite good, the staff are well-trained and friendly. The selection’s decent. I found around 8 BrewDog beers on tap, another 6 (or so) guests on draft. Guests included stuff from Nogne and Red Willow. The bottle selection is strong for BrewDog stuff, but seemed to lack interesting stuff from other breweries. The value’s a debatable point. I thought the prices were fine for most of their beers. Overall, I recommend a visit.

Nice selection of American and ’craft’ bottles some are well priced and worth buying alesmith and lost abbey in particular. Brewdogs beers are not world class and their marketing is annoying but a few of the limited ones are worth a plunge. Pizzas are vile

It’s quite a cool, trendy place with brick, stone, metal and glass features. Clientele seems to be businessmen and trendy art students. Service is excellent with very enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. They do miss a decent, up to date price and selection list. Value is hard to judge because it is very expensive but they mostly offer more bang for you buck. Examples of draught beer prices.... Dead Pony Club £3.75/pint. -- 5AM Saint & Punk IPA £4.25/pint. -- Dogma £4.20 per 2/3pint. -- International Arms Race £3.95 per 1/2pint. -- Paradox Jura £4.95 per 1/3pint.

’In hops we trust’ is the slogan for this excellent BrewDog pub in Manchester. We spent quite a few hours here on a Saturday afternoon eating, drinking and having a good time in an open, airy, clean, laid back and friendly atmosphere. The pub has a central location, and a very nice little brick patio outside. Open plan layout and minimalistic décor in a rather large, four-sided room – larger than the BrewDog places I visited in Glasgow and Edinburgh earlier this year. Six guest ales on tap including one from The Kernel. Six of their own beers, including AB 10, on tap. And, of course, a very extensive list of bottles. I was offered samples of every beer I showed an interest for, even the AB 10, by a service minded barman. For food I had a tasty cheese platter, very suitable with their Imperial Pilsner. Music during our time at the pub was from Tori Amos, REM and Bell and Sebastian – quite alright, however I would have preferred and expected a stronger punk attitude to their choice of music. Anyway, my best BrewDog pub so far – Camden, next (visited with Elisabeth and Stefan 07.07.2012).
