Situated on the way down to the keyside I visited this place on a Saturday afternoon shortly after the end of the match at SJP.
Thankfully the canny Geordies are reluctant to pay the Brewdog prices so the place wasnít too busy. Itís got the standard modern minimalist Brewdog vibe going on. Decent selection of beer, kept well, staff helpful. Nice place

We visited here on twice on Tuesday 30th September and again on Wednesday 1st October 2014. This is easily my favourite Brewdog bar thus far; itís well situated on the hill down to the Quayside but also close enough to Bacchus, DATbar, Bierrex etc. Itís a mid-sized Brewdog bar sharing the same stark, industrial looks as many of their other places with a similar layout. The bar is off to the right with the beer display now adopted from the successful Shepherds Bush bar looming clear and bright above and behind the bar. Staff were exceptionally friendly and really engaging, easily the best Brewdog staff Iíve encountered. The staff here seemed genuinely interested, down to earth and a good laugh a world away from the image conscious, I know more than you type that I often encounter in a Brewdog establishment. I had a superb Libertine that had been put through the hop cannon which contained coffee beans and vanilla pods, wow it was brill. I liked the new seating (again taking its cue from Shepherds Bush). Beer choice was good, a great bar.

Quite a small place with wooden flooring and the usual high prices for Brewdog beer. If you really want to have some Brewdog beers, then go here, but there are plenty of other decent places in Newcastle for craft beer.

Large modern pub in a cool trendy part of town. Quiete during the day and not as many interesting beers as their other locations. Nice tasting events posted though. Friendly if not the geek paradise.

Located halfway up the hill on the parallel round to the Tyne Bridge which this pub backs on to, this is a BrewDog pub very much in the funky bar design that most of its city centre outlets have. Thereís no faulting the selection here, itís as good as ever, although the prices are just as high and higher than other local ale houses.

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, a pretty good selection of bottled beers but can sometimes be a bit pricey.

Split-level BrewDog bar with a focus on beer downstairs and beer-cocktails upstairs. Has the whole industrial vibe going down like the other bars. Expect a very good selection of European and American craft beer on keg and in bottle. One of the smaller selections out of the BD bars, but good nonetheless. Staff as you would expect are knowledgeable and friendly. A quality joint.

I feel like Iím being a bit of a curmudgeon by concentrating on what I donít like rather than what I do. To be honest, I have enjoyed every visit iíve made to this place in whatever context. BUT I donít like the "hipper than thou" atmosphere, the self conciously outre decor, and the prices, which seem calculated to remind you that this is a SPECIAL experience. Having said all that, Iíve had some brilliant and delicious beers here, the bar staff have been knowledgable and interested, and theyíve been more than willing to let you try before you buy. So, Iíll probably go whenever Iím having a night out in Newcastle, but an hour and a couple of drinks are enough.

This place has a similar design and layout to every other Brewdog bar Iíve been to. The ambiance is friendly, laid back. Good tunes on the sound system, thereís boardgames and a pinball machine available too. The draft selection was a bit unbalanced on my visit. Quite a few of Brewdogís dark high gravity offerings were available, but there wasnít much hoppy stuff on draft. The bottle selection was great. There was plenty of Kernel and even some rare stuff from De Molen (Hel & Verdoemenis 666!). The service was friendly. This bar is more expensive than anywhere else in Newcastle. Overall, I enjoyed my visit,

Visited here back in September, enjoyed my visit and it was fairly busy for a Wednesdaty night although I expected busier since they were launching both White Noise & a San Diego scotch Ale that night. Selection was decent although they didnít have any Flying Dog Arms Race that I was looking for. Price was the usual for Brewdog but the draft list wasnít that big, especially for one of their newer bars. One of Newcastles better bars and one I would visit again.
