Quite a small place with wooden flooring and the usual high prices for Brewdog beer. If you really want to have some Brewdog beers, then go here, but there are plenty of other decent places in Newcastle for craft beer.

Large modern pub in a cool trendy part of town. Quiete during the day and not as many interesting beers as their other locations. Nice tasting events posted though. Friendly if not the geek paradise.

Located halfway up the hill on the parallel round to the Tyne Bridge which this pub backs on to, this is a BrewDog pub very much in the funky bar design that most of its city centre outlets have. Thereís no faulting the selection here, itís as good as ever, although the prices are just as high and higher than other local ale houses.

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, a pretty good selection of bottled beers but can sometimes be a bit pricey.

Split-level BrewDog bar with a focus on beer downstairs and beer-cocktails upstairs. Has the whole industrial vibe going down like the other bars. Expect a very good selection of European and American craft beer on keg and in bottle. One of the smaller selections out of the BD bars, but good nonetheless. Staff as you would expect are knowledgeable and friendly. A quality joint.

I feel like Iím being a bit of a curmudgeon by concentrating on what I donít like rather than what I do. To be honest, I have enjoyed every visit iíve made to this place in whatever context. BUT I donít like the "hipper than thou" atmosphere, the self conciously outre decor, and the prices, which seem calculated to remind you that this is a SPECIAL experience. Having said all that, Iíve had some brilliant and delicious beers here, the bar staff have been knowledgable and interested, and theyíve been more than willing to let you try before you buy. So, Iíll probably go whenever Iím having a night out in Newcastle, but an hour and a couple of drinks are enough.

This place has a similar design and layout to every other Brewdog bar Iíve been to. The ambiance is friendly, laid back. Good tunes on the sound system, thereís boardgames and a pinball machine available too. The draft selection was a bit unbalanced on my visit. Quite a few of Brewdogís dark high gravity offerings were available, but there wasnít much hoppy stuff on draft. The bottle selection was great. There was plenty of Kernel and even some rare stuff from De Molen (Hel & Verdoemenis 666!). The service was friendly. This bar is more expensive than anywhere else in Newcastle. Overall, I enjoyed my visit,

Visited here back in September, enjoyed my visit and it was fairly busy for a Wednesdaty night although I expected busier since they were launching both White Noise & a San Diego scotch Ale that night. Selection was decent although they didnít have any Flying Dog Arms Race that I was looking for. Price was the usual for Brewdog but the draft list wasnít that big, especially for one of their newer bars. One of Newcastles better bars and one I would visit again.

One of the more spacious BrewDog bars I've been in, but still with the same industro-chic vibe. Cool mezzanine section gives it the appearance of being very roomy. Ace old-school pinball machine. Selection on tap isn't quite as extensive as Edinburgh, but still very good - mostly their own brews with 2/3 guest taps that were all British when I was last in (great to see Wild Beer Co making an appearance). Bottle list is extensive, although the lack of a beer menu narks me a bit - I know the idea is to chat with the staff (who are all lovely, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable to be fair) about what they have, but I do like to sit and browse a physical list rather than leaning over the bar peering into the fridges. Only a small gripe though, as the selection is bloody good - they had a couple of the harder-to-find Cantillon bottles when I was in (Fou'Foune & Mamouche) which was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of Kernel and Mikkeller bottles, plus a decent selection of US imports. Like all BrewDog joints, it's very pricey - that doesn't surprise me at all, but I think a few of the other patrons in there with less experience in craft-focused bars were a bit taken aback (4quid pints in the toon aren't a common thing!). Lots of quirky local touches in terms of food offerings and witty north east banter graffiti on the walls. A great addition to Newcastle's beer scene.

Iíve been a few times, but my last visit has probably put me off going for a while. Bar maid was incredibly rude, although she may have just been acting ícoolí? Brewdog beer is ok but they do have some interesting guest beers. I had a bottle of Brewdog International Arms Race, which was interesting, but I love hops so not my cup of tea (almost a flat ginger beer), and I was surprised they didnít have the Flying Dog version??? The customers all seemed happy enough which added a nice vibe, I was begrudgingly given samples of beers I didnít know by a barmaid who didnít want us to disturb her eating, I didnít have food, it was very expensive (which I donít mind for something different), but an overall not bad/not good experience.
