Situated in a nice location along the river. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere a bit away from the city hustle & bustle. Service is fiendly and quite good. There is a nice selection of beers to choose from including a couple of seasonal offerings. The beers are not awe inspiring but for Singapore this offers a nice variety to the standard beers offered locally. There is a good menu of pub food to go with the beers. Considering where in the world you are at, this is a nice oasis to relax and enjoy the local beers.

Visited October 5, 2012 It’s a hot and steamy night in Singapore, and Clarke Quay at 10:30pm is packed with beautiful young things. I’m not one of them, but it’s my first night in Asia and Brewerkz was my first stop after checking in at my nearby hotel. I’m lucky to have an outdoor table at this massive brewpub/restaurant by the riverbank, hence the full marks for ambience. The beer menu is divided among Guest Taps, Signature Beers and Seasonal Specials. I’m starting with a Hopback Ale, a 4.5% cask bitter. It’s very reminiscent of an English ale, at a proper cask temperature and is very tasty. The service here was better than average, especially given the crowds here on a Friday night. There is plenty of outdoor seating and indoors you can take advantage of the air conditioning and the large screen sports on TV. Brewerkz offers a 5.0% Kolsch as a seasonal special, so that’s my next glass. The pricing structure here is new to me - they charge by the time of day you drink! My Kolsch would cost $6 Singapore dollars at lunchtime, and it goes up in increments to my current late night glass at $12!! These aren’t pints I’m drinking, though - a 500 ml or half-litre of beer is called a "fifty". My Kolsch "fifty" is also delicious, is colder than the Hopback, and has that German crispness. I have to say I prefer the Hopback. Next up and last for tonight is the seasonal Oktoberfest, billed as a 6.0% "strong nutty malt character". Much smoother than the Kolsch, darker, deceptively strong, and sweeter than the real Bavarian Oktoberfest I’m used to. I’m skipping the strange-sounding seasonals such as White Rabbit, Black Pig and Mad Bee, but will return during my stay. What a great place! I wish my hometown had a place of this standard. Highly recommended and earning a "Very Good" label from me if you are in Singapore.

I've been coming here now since 2006 on and off and I have never been disappointed. Awesome selection of craft ales brewed on-site which is the reason to come here. Decent selection of bottled beers from around the world. Great food and great service too. Can't recommend highly enough for any beer lover.

It’s a good while since I was here, but certainly a place worth visiting if you are in Singapore - good beer in the circumstances.

One of the best places in Singapore. An excellent selection of local draft beer and bottled.

Probably the best place in Singapore, but that is not saying much. This town lacks a beer culture so you will not find much variety or excitement. However, if you are traveling here, then I suggest you give it a shot.

A beautiful brewpub, situated on Clarke’s Quay, beutiful terrace overlooking the Singapore River, with corregated metal walls, large dining area. Food is expensive, beer is expensive, Singapore is expensive. But this is the best brewpub in the country. 4 X 90 ml samples for 13$, Western menu.

Update July 2012: previous comments remain. Service remains very good and really this is as good as any tourist orientated brew pub getting around. In general the beers were dependable but lacked excitement. The venue however was excellent. Super efficient service and the food very well priced compared to other non-Asian options in the area. Wonderful location on the quay and the outside tables excellent people watching. Sampler flights of 5 for about $13.

Looks bigger than it is due to lots of banners and signage, plus an extensive patio area. Food was solid pub grub, and the beers were rather pleasant. As with most places in Singapore, the service was excellent. Certainly worth a stop.
