Ok beer. Place is nice inside. Food isn’t bad. Some employees aren’t quite knowledgeable as others. I wish places like this would test the limits of brewing more.

cool place in phoenix, some interesting beers and a helpful staff

Great selection of brews available - not a bad one in the bunch. The Amarillo Red was probably the best - and a close second is anything on the cask. Food was very good (even my discriminating wife’s palette was appeased). Service was excellent, knowledgable, and friendly. As far as the name is concerned - it is NOT to be confused with Sonoran. To this effect, I believe that it is actually changing its name to "Sun Up Brewing".

I’ve been here several times, most recently the week of March 1, but am now just reviewing. I had a nice cask IPA among their good beer list. Had appetizers with a friend that were well done. Overall a good beer list, nice patio, and decent food. The location is a bit out of the way for my usually but I try to get here about once a year.

Was displeased last time I entered and have been hesitant since. Nice location, nice space. Have had two good offerings: their cream ale and their cask IPA. Food is decent. Service doesn’t get in your way.

Stopped by late in the evening when the grill was still going, though. The service was friendly from the bartender, who was knowledgeable of the beer styles. The food was decent, but certainly not fancy. The beer selection was pretty good, at least six or so, where two seasonals/specials were on too (impy stout and a marzen). The ambiance was a bit dark and bar-pub-like, nothing big. Decent seating/eating area in addition to the bar. Not a place that I’d head out to for watching a big sporting event, but decent for a brew or two.

Last year the story was that the Brewhouse was absorbing the den. Now it seems to be a partnership: Sonora Brewhouse & Brewer’s Den, or at least it comes up on the web that way.

Not sue what this place is called...Sonora Brewhouse or Brewer’s Den. They had 8 beers on tap the day I visited including a cask pale ale and two seasonals (one of which was a nice high gravity blonde). They were very good as a group and the seasonals were very tasty. Didn’t eat. Staff were very helpful. One of the better brewpubs in the Phoenix area.
