Prices are stellar, unfortunately like in every place in BC. This is my favorite shop, for selection and atmosphere/service. They are supposed to have Twitter/Facebook updates of new arrivals. The new arrivals are not very frequent, but at least I find something every time I go. They try to get all the good beers locally produced.

Decent selection, although no real rarities, friendly staff, above-average prices.

A wonderful store no doubt. A bustliní crowd around but still nice to wander and browse the shelves. Many international brews and a heavy focus on Oregon micros. Grabbed a Logsdon saison to go. Staff at counter was chatty considering the flow of customers.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Big selection of beer, much of which is refrigerated. Selection is mostly BC, USA, Europe. Found a few De Molens here on my want list. Now we come to the downside - the prices. This is an expensive place, as I understand all private liquor stores in BC are. For example, 6-pack of Lagunitas IPA was $18. Compare that to the $7 I paid in a convenience store in Portland, OR. Nonetheless, given no other places with this type of selection, I could spend a lot of money here if I lived in Vancouver.

One of the best beer selections in Vancouver. They seem to get some small quantities of stuff that I donít see in other stores, from great breweries like De Molen, Mikkeller, BrewDog. Their layout seems a little unpredictable, so I have to check every shelf carefully each time I visit. The staff are very helpful. CAMRA members get 10% discount.

On this one, I believe Ratebeer is trustworthy as Brewery Creek was my favourite store in vancouver. On a busy portion of Main St., you enter the into the wine section of this darkish store that does not seem so big at first, but as you step toward the rear to the beer section, there is a lot of stuff. From what Iíve seen, the best selection of Belgian ales in the city. And on the opposite wall, refrigerators are filled with a hundred or so of the best BC bottled offerings, so I assume they are fresher. Coincidentally, itís the only store I went to in Vancouver where other beer geeks were browsing the selection. The latter is I found was the best in the city, but not necessarily by a great margin. They probably had the most American Pacific northWest offerings including fun stuff like Cascade sour ales, Hopworks and Ninkasi. The store was probably the most pleasant to be in though. What helps in that regard is that the staff was friendly, hip and apparently very knowledgeable - certainly a strong point for this store.

Stocks hard to find import beers. Great selection of Belgians. I'll definitely be coming back even though it is a 45 min drive from my house.
