Simply put: if you’re in Nicosia (or indeed Cyprus) and craving a craft beer, this is the place to go. Leagues ahead of everywhere else. The secret is that it’s run by beer geeks: Jim, the owner (ably assisted by Costas and Giorgellis), often gives the impression that he’d keep the place even without any customers, just so he’d have a place to drink (he imports all the beers himself)! Wish they did food as well, but you can order excellent pizza from Forno di Jenny’s up the road. In a word, invaluable.

Brewfellas started out as a small craft beer distributor just over a year ago and has since evolved into a proper bar and even managed to double in size.
The dim lighting, exposed brick walls, and the miscellany of antique-y found objects, along with an eclectic music selection are reminiscent of a low-key hipster bar in Brooklyn. This is Nicosia, however, so this bar is actually frequented by a diverse demographic that includes young and old, male and female, and locals, tourists and expats alike. On any given night you’ll find at least one of the young owners working behind the bar, along with the Brewfellas friendly and eager bartender.
The available beers are carefully selected and range from the requisite pilsner for the uninspired, to a great variety of Belgian, Dutch and even US craft brews. A small number of especially hard to find bottles are also available and are usually aged. With the recent acquisition of a double tap, Brewfellas is now adding a different draught every 3-4 weeks and the selections so far have been awesomely bold.

"Good beer! No sh..!" This is what the sticker on the door says and it describes perfectly what one gets in terms of experience in this bar.
If you’re in town looking for a place to go and have beer and a pleasant time, need a good beer, are a connoisseur or want to explore some of the venues of Nicosia, this is the primary place you have to go to.
Pleasant, great experience, great beer, cool bartenders.
Check it out!

What a pleasant surprise. Who would think that while enjoying the ancient culture, mediterranean climate and excellent food in Cyprus one would stumble upon what is probably one of the nicer beer bars in all of Europe.
Seriously, this place combines just the right relaxed atmosphere, friendly and informed staff and well picked selection to make any beer aficionado smile, spend a few hours and return again.
The guys running this place have gone out there way to create a fun bottle selection and even if there are only a few beers on tap you’ll be quite happy sipping on a limited release keg from a small US brewer on this warm island at the eastern edge of Europe.

Probably the best place to go when you’re looking for craft beer on Cyprus. Just a few yards from the border station in dowtown mainstreet, you can’t miss it.
Lots of beer from Netherlands, Belgium en US. Also got some beer from the 2 Cyprus microbreweries which are very hard to get elsewhere on the island. To bad they didnt have more of them in stock at my visit.
Also got a list of new hard to get beers they had in stock, what a service!
