One of the best beer bars in the world. Two floors, two bars, and every beer in its proper glass. Excellent selection of beers, what Iíve had off the menu was delicious. Better prices are found on the draft selections rather than the bottles, but thatís to be expected. Can get a little crowded, but this is a popular place. Decatur is always a fun trip, there are plenty of restaurants and shops, and everyone should check out the Dekalb Farmerís Market.

The owners of the pub write how they visited Kulminator and had a life changing experience and wanted to re-create that experience back in the states. I similarly visited Kulminator and Akkurat around the same time and had the same idea, how cool would it be to have a bar with a true vintage list. The answer is not very cool in America, especially when executed like this. You can make this work overseas because you can basically sell any beer you want, from any distribution source, hold onto to them forever, and have greater access to harder to find lambics that deserve to be aged. In America, we lack the depth of these beers and thus the result is Brick Store, where 99% of the beers being aged either suck, shouldnít be aged more than a year at most, or so widely distributed they make the whole point of cellaring moot because you can do it at home with more ease and bang for your buck. Who wants a 2012 Oude Tart, or a vertical of Moohoo, or any of the other several weak Terrapin or Sweetwater beers. Yes, they have some KBS, an absurdly priced CBS, and a little Cantillon. The rest of the list just doesnít cut it. If youíre going to do this concept do it, age 10 plus years or chimay, westmalle, Rochefort, have sick BCS veritcals, more drie than 3 varietes, several years of older viscosity. There are some US beers to do this concept with, shorten the depth of your cellar and stick to beers that matter. Enough railing on this poor execution. There are other areas of need. The draft list only had 8 semi local beers, (NC, SC, GA). The rest were commonly distributed beers. 1 beer and you leave disappointing. I did like the atmosphere of the place, but I was gone in 30 minutes.

Nice Irish meets Belgian pub feel with lots of wood, slightly cramped spacing. Great service, quick and knowledgeable, sometimes did seem a bit pretentious though. Amazing selection on tap and in bottles; cellar was impressive, just too overpriced for me. Food was great, upscale pub fare. DEcent prices for the area, but you can definitely rack up a big bill quickly. Rightfully deserves to be one of the best beer bars in the country.

This place rocks! Stopped in with TBS for a beer and an app, and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was incredible (very Belgian-esque), and the beer list was incredible (especially their cellar; just be ready to get your wallet out for vintage stuff). Service was good too. I had a soft pretzel and the spicy mustarx was awesome, but I donít feel itís enough to warrant a food review. They do have food though. A must stop.

Amazing place with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Belgian bar upstairs is awesome. Great cellar list, very good bottle selection, and a vibrant tap list.

A wonderful place in Decatur for craft beer. They have a really large selection and several great beers on tap. Their menu seems to change often, which gives you plenty of reason to make return visits. Their food is also excellent! I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely love this place. So much to choose from. The staff was very knowledgable. Brought tons of beers to the table to sample. Could tell you any detail about any beer on the menu. Love the rustic decor. Food was good not much to choose from though. If this place was closer to home I would be there everyday!

Iíve been hearing about this place for some time now and finally got a chance to visit this past Saturday. I can clearly say this is one of the best craftbeer bars Iíve been to in the southeast with only Atlantaís Porter Beer Bar even close. As otherís have said before me...amazing beer selection...locals & beyond...draft list...crazy bottle list...unbelievable vintage list (checkout the vintage bottle room)....correct glassware...and very knowledgeable staff. I love the outside tables (with dogs)...the horseshoe bar on the first floor...and especially the Belgium bar on the second floor. As I travel to Atlanta frequently for business and family...the Brick Store Pub will now be on a rotating visit schedule with the Porter Beer Bar whenever Iím down this way. I highly recommend you go out of your way to visit...itís definitely a destination craftbeer bar.

One of the best spots in the Atlanta area. Nice comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Good service. Solid rotating draft selection, and a huge bottle list.

Great beer bar in downtown Decatur (near Atlanta). Nice selection of draft beers - some of which are hard to find elsewhere around town. Large selection of bottles including many Belgians. Fairly small space, but cool local vibe. Had a burger and a beer. Burger was perfect. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
