This is a great venue right in the heart of Beechworth. Excellent beers accompanied by great pizzas in an historical courtyard setting would be hard to beat anywhere. I’ll always drop in when in this part of the world.

A great small town brewery. We stopped in early afternoon and the place had a few others drinking a pint or two. The outdoor space/beer garden is wonderful. Decent indoor space for when the weather is no good but I highly encourage sitting outside with the sun on your back. They have a playground for the little ones, too. I snagged the sampler which had 10 or so of their offerings. After that was done I started going thru their bottle selections. They had quite a large range of their brews available on tap and in bottle. One hand pump, also. They had half a dozen ciders available, which was a big hit wih my wife. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop in here if anywhere in the vicinity. One of my favorite brewpubs I’ve visited.

One of my favourite Aussie brewers at the moment. The Brewery had a nice relaxed vibe with locals and tourists enjoying the beer garden. The indoors area is air conditioned if it’s too hot outside. Service was good and the staff seem to know what they are talking about All their "Standard Range" beers on tap, plus a couple of specials and takeaways including the "Chevalier" range are available. Good value too. Pity it’s not just a little bit closer to the city, but it is worth a journey. The pizzas are excellent!

This Brewery is located down an alley behind the Tanswell Hotel in Beechworth. The beers have an "Austrian" origin (aka German?). The servers were vey knowledgable about the breers . They have about 8 beers on tap and I was able to sample six of the brews. All the beers are quite solid for their style. They also make some beers under the Chevalier label which seem to have a bit of Belgian flare. They also brew some speialty beers and a couple of one-off beers. For a Brewery they provide excellent pizzas and a few other tidbits to compliment the beers. There is a relaxing beer garden and even a play area for the kids. You are able to purchase beers they have bottled as well as growlers. This was an outstanding stop on the Victoria High Country Brewery Trail.

Best brewpub setup getting around in Victoria at the moment and maybe the whole country. 8 beers on tap and well price at no more the $4.50 a pot. Pizzas are great and the vibe relaxed and friendly. Must be Beechworth’s leading attraction?

Great brewhouse with gourment pizzas and fresh craft beer available all year around - one of the best breweries in Australia at the moment! Definitely worth the trip from the city, makes a great weekend away!

Wow, I agree with pretty much everything DavidM says. Nice selection on taps. Some chance to taste their keg-only brews. Pizza’s are sensational. Get’s nice and busy on weekends. Brwer seems ever-present so you can quiz him about it all.

Great place for beer tasting. They have a wide range of beers for all occasions, and very interesting seasonals. It’s also a good opportunity to buy the 750ml Chevaliers at good value. The pizza was delicious.
