Very nice and trendy bar with a downstairs and upstairs. Very long and nice taproom downstairs. Service was very good, although beer knowledge was not imparted, they did know what they had. Selection was a great choice of locals with many out of state and a large bottle selection. They serve 4oz pours. Food was high end and pricey, but very nice. Prices were good for the type of place you are in. A great must, if you can.

Really nice place. Definitely a bit of a paint b numbers gastropub complete with fancy grilled cheeses and lots of dark wood decor. Still, selection is fantastic. Tons of top notch national beers and a lot of tasty locals for the out of tower to discover all that St Louis has to offer.food is as I said a bit pretentious but tasty nonetheless. My favorite place in st Louis, let alone beer place.

(Visited 10/2013): Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar is located in downtown St. Louis on Locust Street between 10th and 11th. Metered parking is available in the surrounding area, as are a couple garages.
The inside opens up to bar area with brick walls, ceiling fans and cool chandeliers. Behind the bar are shelves full of various bottled spirits, wines and beers and a library-style rolling ladder so the bartender can access them. The long line of tap handles is also visible behind the bar. There is an upper level as well with additional seating.
The draught list consists of around 50 beers, with many regional brewers represented like Boulevard, Perennial, Schlafly, Sixth Row, Civil Life and 4 Hands. Sampler sizes are available. A couple hundred bottles as well, again with many nearby breweries represented like 2nd Shift, Schlafly, Boulevard and Crown Valley. They also had a collaborative bottle of Chocolate Ale from a sister location called Bailey’s.
Service on a weekday afternoon was good. The bartender was well-versed in the beer selection and friendly.
I did not have any food on my visit.
All in all I was pleased with my visit here and would definitely put Bridge near the top of the list for future visits to St. Louis.

Great selection of beers on tap. Absolutely nothing to complain but I liked Bailey’s Range more. Definitely worth a visit.

The ambiance here is very chill and classy. It’s a spacious brick building with a wooden bar downstairs and tables and couches upstairs. There are large wooden shelves behind the bar housing fine liquors, wine and beer. The beer selection is extensive featuring a great mix of locals, micros and imports. Prices are great. I’ve noticed it’s comparatively affordable to drink craft beer in St. Louis bars. Drafts are available in 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz, and growlers. The bartender was superb as well. We were out on a very slow Sunday night and this was one of the best stops.

Couple years ago at a conference in area, we spend almost every day here. Solid tap offerings and a decent bottle list. I pretty much made my way through all the St. Louis beers on the list over a few days. I remember getting the 2nd Shift Unicorn in a 750 after the waiter had to search for it. Food good, bur pricey.

Came here twice during my short stay in St. Louis. Fancier atmosphere though no one cared when I rolled up in shorts and sandals. Friendly staff. Excellent tap list with a large selection. Almost all the beers on tap were quite impressive: Boulevard, Bells, Het Anker, De Dolle, Anchor and then local offerings from 4 Hands, Civil Life, and 2nd Shift. These local offerings were very impressive. Fresh kegs- wow these were good. Food is high end gastropub. Really, you need to eat here or you are doing yourself a disservice. My only qualms were that the service was always slow to almost insanely slow (one afternoon we had one server for 14 tables) and the tap list was outdated for 2 days in a row, which is annoying.
PROS: Great location, great opening hours, insanely good food, good prices, awesome beer selection, excellent local beer offerings.
CONS: slow to ridiculously slow service two days in a row that almost forced us to pay for drinks and leave before ordering dinner, outdated tap list for multiple days in a row. I asked what kegs were replacing the ones that had kicked and they did not know or said that it would take a day to put on a new keg. Are you effing kidding me? NO air conditioning in the top floor left us sweltering up in the loft where the tables are for two days in a row. The server did apologize to us and comped some of our beers since we waited 30 minutes to order our food. Not her fault. She was working FOURTEEN tables by herself.
So, turn on the air conditioning, hire more staff, and update your tap list!!! Holy cow.

Small but fun establishment located downtown. Opens to the street, making for some entertaining people watching. Excellent selection of handles, with sizes from tasters to ginormous pours available. Also has a sizable wine clientele, and the decor seems to reflect that sort of ambiance. Cheese and charcuterie tasting plates available. Didn’t try any, but they certainly looked tasty. The evening er were there, the wine crowd held sway. Service that night was a bit spotty, as the staff were a bit focused on the winos. ;-)

Visited here as a part of a 9-brewery weekend tour of the St. Louis beer scene. This bar was pretty slow when we showed up late on Saturday night. It is kind of a swanky, upscale bar. Around 50 beers on tap, with a nice mixture of local, regional, and international taps. Definitely worth checking out if you are in St. Louis.

Another winning recommendation from the Ratebeer universe. Neat little space right in downtown STL. Where’s the keg room for this Olympic tap list!? Ate lunch with my Mom and Dad and the sandwiches were outstanding. Service was spot on too! New favorite in STL.
