70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20
Visited Sunday 09/11/14 for dinner.
Downtown location and split across 2 levels, the appearance is medium to higher end, wood floors, red brick walls, well laid out and plenty of space with both high bench and lower level table sitting.
We hit around the prime Sunday dinner slot and the place was ticking over nicely but no more than half full.
10 beers on tap which you could take as a tasting flight. All house beers all of which were adequate, no stinkers but no world beaters typically coming in at 3.3/3.4 on the rating front for me.
Service was good as was the food.
Would definately hit this place up if you are stopping in downtown PDX but I doubt it would make my top 10 hitlist for PDX venues.

A modern brewpub, sort of like Vancouverís Yaletown feel with several levels. Beer quality is not very good, but itís enjoyable setting to enjoy a brew, especially on the patio. Very reasonably priced and friendly service. Not a mandatory stop in PDX by any means, but cool place.

Beautiful place with average beer. That being said, I enjoyed my barleywine. Nothing else on the beer list was interesting enough for a return visit.

Awesome location in a restored rope factory with lots of high ceilings and original metal and brick works. Food was tasty and reasonable, they had 8 taps with two seasonals, and service was great. Worth stopping into if you are in the neighbourhood.

Huge brewpub situated in a pleasant building that has a large dining area as well as seating in the front bar and outside patio. Had a nice pint of porter with lunch. Friendly and efficient wait staff. Side area selling merchandise and growlers.

Large place in an old factory building. Quite limited selection of own brews, but with some nice rotating seasonals as a nice touch. Service was good even with a good crowd going on. Decent value.

Very large place. 8 beers on tap, two of which were seasonals. Also 3 of the beers available on cask. Quality of the beers varied; most were boring but a couple stood out. Pizza was good. Very friendly waiter. All in all a decent brewpub.

I was expecting more of a selection when I visited, but there were 5 beers on tap. One of which Iíd never heard of, so that was cool, but, still, 5 beers. Thatís it? The service was great. I didnít eat here, but there were so many young families that my fiancee, and I wanted to vomit. Iím so sick of young families bringing their fucking children to places like this; however, I canít blame them as this is more of a restaurant, that just happens to be known because of the brewery. Kind of a let down, and given the overly family vibe, I donít think Iíll go back. Either in the Pearl, or on the outer cusp of it, so that is a bonus, as that is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Portland, but starting to get CROWDED. Open space, with a lot of exposed wood beams. Has a nice open feel to it.
