Some of the best beer on tap in Philadelphia on my last visit including Lagunitas and Russian River. Comfortable and fun atmosphere. Reasonablly priced food that exceeds pub expectations. Exceptional service. One of the best things going in town currently.

This is one of my favorite Philly bars. Located by the Art Museum (near the old Prison). Great beer selection. Lots of Belgium beer on tap and bottle. Can get crowded and parking is a hassle (located in a neighborhood - row houses) but well worth seeking out.

A nice neighborhood restaurant/bar that has an excellent selection of beers on tap and an ever rotating selection of botles. The staff is very firendly and knowlegeable and the food is very good. Instead of the average pub far, Bridgids offers a nice selection of appetizers and entrees ranging from $10-$20. They often have beers there that i have never seen in any other bar in the city including the Val-Dieu Quad.

Hard to find a spot to park, but once you get there it is worth it. Always a good selection of micros, and imports on tap and from the bottle. Service and food are excellent.

Very much a neighborhood bar. Bartenders and patrons seem to know each other and are friendly to each other and people like me who are not neighbors to the bar. Good variety of taps pouring plus two gravity taps. Food is definitely a stpe up from pub fare. A bit small and when busy it feels very cramped. Comfortable and relaxed. I like it.

Great little non-smoking pub. Friendly crowd, pleasant very informed waitstaff. If you can find a place to park give it a try. Also have beer tastings occasionally on the second floor.

A nice cozy little place, with a good if small selection of Belgians. Some uncommon stuff you might not find at Monks. Excellent service by staff who both know beer and enjoy it. Pricey though!

Phillyís first Belgian restaurant, this has changed since Michel Notredame started his own place and is not as Belgian as before. But it is a good place to get decent, reasonably-priced food and a good selection of beer: about 15 taps of micros and a good selection of bottles. Itís in an area (Fairmount) that now has a lot of similar competition--The Belgian Cafe, London, Kite & Key, St. Stephenís Green, etc. The dining room only has about 10 tables and the bar has maybe 15 stools. The place has a very neighborhood feel to it.

small, cozy little bar off of fairmount ave. mostly bottle selection - though you will find the only gravity tap system (currently serving yards spruce ale) in the country. food was very good. some interesting belgian and other hard to find beers on the bottle list - and all of the bottles that we tried seemed fresh and not overly old.

I am a bit confused with this place, Celtic symbol and cross with an all italian food menu .... small neighborhood bar that used to simply be called "Bar" years ago ..... solid tap list covering most styles and a couple gravity fed lines... had mostly US craft beers on tap and the bottle list had a good variety of belgian and US Micros .... small rectangular bar and a small area for dining with an upstairs featuring more dining area .... they make their own bread and it smelled and looked amazing ... I would definitely come back to try the italian menu .... the service was very friendly and the staff talked beer and we watched the phils game on a couple tvís while we enjoyed our beers .... definitely a friendly and welcoming place ..... hope they figure out their identity!!
