80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 15/20 NachlamSie (447) Tennessee | January 21, 2013 This brewery has a decent sized tasting room in the front with a shuffleboard table, a small bar and a couple of tables. Beer is available to go in six packs, bombers and growlers. I had a pint of their IPA which was just okay. The selection here was very unadventurous with an amber, a honey wheat, a couple of pale ales. It was an okay stop for me. | 84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 jcnielsen (138) Kansas City, Missouri | November 8, 2012 I’ve visited Bristol a couple times while in Colorado Springs. I like it because it is solely a taproom for their beer, and it has more of a neighborhood bar type feel to it than a lot of other breweries. If I lived nearby, I could see myself visiting often, just to hang out and grab a beer. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 16/20 UncleKorm (23) Colorado Springs, Colorado | September 11, 2012 This review is for Bristol’s original tap room, they are in the process of expanding and moving to a new location. When that occurs rate beer should close out this location & start over with a clean slate of reviews. Right now the only beers available are Bristol’s own brews, they no longer carry Black Fox as that brewer is now working for DryDock in Aurora, CO. Bristol takes $1 off on growler fills every Wed, already the best price in town, so Wed there is a line of folks with empty growlers hungry for more. Nothing fancy, no food service, but you can get a dog dish full of pretzels. Parking is hard to come by, but once inside the folks are friendly & the beer is good. | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 RABinVA (44) Fredericksburg, Virginia | May 19, 2012 Nothing here but beer, and mostly Bristol, though they also serve Black Fox. And the thing is, Bristol’s beers aren’t very consistent. I went for the release of the IIPA and it was pretty crowded but they were moving people through pretty fast. They do serve in proper glassware, which goes a long way. Fun environment, but nothing special. | 74 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 csaso (129) Missouri | May 9, 2012 Very nice little place. No food, but pretty good local beer in a great laid back, comfy atmosphere (including shuffleboard table). 11 local beers on tap, most from Bristol but seem to be under other names? Nonetheless still good beer. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 18/20 miguelmayo (11) Colorado Springs, Colorado | April 3, 2012 My favorite local brew pub, I think I feel more at home here than anywhere else in CS. The brew pubs seems to bring people together and is always a great spot to meet good people, the beers are excellent and the service if friendly. great things happening here with the new building starting construction ! Laughing lab is my favorite beer, winter warlock is the best stout in the world! | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 onceblind (66) Denver, Colorado | February 21, 2012 cozy neighborhood kinda bar, complete with lots of wall art, merch, and a shuffleboard. Decent amount of private and bar seating, though it probably couldnt hold more than 60 people. Beer was on the better side of average, with a few good standouts. Sticking mostly with british styles. And they always have some Black Fox on tap for something to mix things up. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 MrRomero (110) Nolanville, Texas | January 26, 2012 Bristol is a tap room with a good selection of beers available. I went during a girls’ night out which made the place quite loud but fun. I had the IPA and the Red Rocket. Both were pretty good with the Red Rocket Pale Ale standing out. Service was good even when it was this busy. Lots of people coming in to take advantage of the $1 off growler refills. A good place to go for a few beers but eat before you come. No food available except a dog bowl of pretzels. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 2/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 18/20 roaddog51 (3) Colorado Springs, Colorado | November 29, 2011 Nice Tap room and some pretty drinkable beers. Price cant be beat in town for fresh on tab brews. Service is good and friendly, not a lot of seating but free pretzels and the tacos are decent if they are serving when you are there. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 Beershine (593) The Sunshine State, Florida | October 5, 2011 Very pleasant, laid-back, friendly taproom with lots of seating. Unabashedly a brewery, smells like brewing (yum) and lots of brewery work going on around. Food can be ordered from restaurant next door. Beer is overall decent. |
