This is a fantastic beer store and tasting room run by Glenn and Davy from Alvinne, above the brewery in the attic. I planned to make a visit here after reading some great reviews and arranged to come up on a Friday afternoon. I had a great time tasting through most of the Alvinne beer lineup with Glenn and Davy and even got to sample a few new beers straight from the barrel! The bottle shop is great as well. I bought about a crate or so of Alvinne and Struise beers and the prices are very very reasonable. Besides Alvinne and Struise beers, they had a very nice selection of various lambic beers and other Belgians from the region and beyond. I plan to go back for a visit during the pre-ZBF fest and again in the future if I am lucky enough to return.

Probably wrong timing (well..). Visit during ACBF. The shop had a small selection, but only great beers. Slightly disappointed by that. The festival was great, overwelming and superb.

I suppose its about time I rated this. Glenn and Davy have what I think is the best beer shop in Belgium. Its the only place in Belgium where you can buy great non-belgian beers... from Nøgne Ø to Three Floyds. Obvioulsy the Belgian beer choice is great. It’s really the only shop I know where you won’t find a single "bad" beer. It may be a small store but they pack in quality! Oh and the Alvinne beers are available too ;)

I thought it was about time we put this place on the map. Special place it is because it is only open once every two weeks. A special tasting is then organized to improve locals palates. At the same time, and for every event, Glenn makes a special food or gastronomic dish to spoil you. Simultaneously, one cannot pass their huge beer shop with more than 270 craft beers available for sale. They accept groups too for guided tours around their brewery annex to the tasting room and shop. Reservation is required though. Simply fantastic!

This was the first stop of our recent trip and what a way to kick things off! The service was fantastic - Glenn had pulled together a really tricky list of beers we’d been looking to track down and the atmosphere and setup were perfect. Walking up the narrow wooden stairs into the shop was akin to a Secret Garden experience. We sampled several of their latest brews of which the Melchior Calvados Barrel Oak Aged triggered instant purchases all round! On browsing the selection the prices were unbelievable across the board and we continued to fill our crates. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and it should become a regular first stop for all our future trips.
