Nice place on a nice location near the water. Selection is rather limited though, only IJ beers.

Nice brewpub with solid beers in Amsterdam, the place is very crowdy and maybe thatís why the service is a little poor. The ambiance is cool and the terrace to sit outside itís very nice. Worth a visit, at least once. Prices are very good!

Ambiance is nice, especially the outside area where you can drink while relaxing under the (rare!) Dutch sun. Friendly staff. Every beer by the Brewey, obviously, is available. Food is good, at least the cheese. Very good value for money. Not bad if you want to have some beer with your friends outside, but beware, it is always very crowded.

A lovely brewery/bar located under a windmill. Walking distance from the train station. They serve their own beers from which most of them are BIO beers. Around 5-6 on tap and some bottles to choose from. Check out their IPA an absolute cracker with a good beer label too. Most of their range is really well made. A lovely place to relish a good beer when in Amsterdam..

Visited in may 2011. Windmill brewery just outside the Amsterdam centrum, you can get there by foot. Own beers on tap and in bottles, and you can see the brewer at work behind the waitresses.

Nice place located in a windmill.5 beers on taps and bottles from their own brewery. Very crowded during sunny days. Opening time are a bit strange. A place that deserves more than two visits!

Damn this building is cool. On the inside the selection is pretty typical of a brewery. Slightly disappointing there isnít anything more special on draft than what they bottle and distribute, because everything we tried was really great. There is an enormous beer garden out front. Lots of people on beer tour mixed with lots of locals enjoying an afternoon brew.

Easily one of the better value experience places in Amsterdam. The food looked great when I was there and it was very refreshing to see a fully-stocked micro brewery with their own beers for sale. I had not eaten there so I can not score their food but the snacks flowing fast from the kitchen looked well prepared and not over done. .
I really respect a microbrewery which sets up to offer a diverse range of beers and one which has strong ethical commitments. This place is outstanding for how it contributes to society and the local beer scene.
I just wish there was more choice for craft guest and it was very noisy whilst I was there. It was a great example of a hustling community brewpub. .

A classic place you cannot miss if in Amsterdam. A little off-center but not so far that it cannot be walked from the Amsterdam center. One thing really cool about this pub is showing up there at 2:55pm on a week-end 5 minutes before it opens. Nobody there. And by 15:10 there wasnít a single place to sit anymore despite the large patio that sits over 100 people. They had 5 taps of housebeers while I was there as well as 2 bottles. Minimal beer-related decoration. Food is small snacks only and they were cheese, cold sausages and boiled eggs (or something like that). I cannot say I was impressed by the beers. Like many Dutch beers, they were all very yeasty and the beers were mostly a yeast soup with some variants, not exactly to style. Still, this was a fun few hours and a must visit in Amsterdam.
