Wow, their beer sure is good! And if you canít make it over to this place, their bottled beer is available at some Albert Heijn and Gall & Gaal stores. I go to Amsterdam for IBC every September, and a visit here is mandatory. 20 steps from the tram. (If youíre coming from the RAI, take the #4 to the #10). The staff is friendly, and you can tell all your friends that you had beers by a windmill. Food is minimal - this is not a restaurant - mainly munchies.

Good place to go. 7 taps, all very good. Keep in mind that there is no food here, just small cold snacks (although good ones).

Your run-of-the-mill brewpub with too few taps, too few chairs, no specials except for a pilsner. An OK place, but Amsterdam has so many more exciting places.

We were here on a windy December day. There are only about six seats inside (props to the young lady who leapt up to give her seat up to my cane-carrying spouse!) We still had a great time sitting outside and drinking the beer. Totally strange clientele, including polite Dutch chopper bicycle gangs with motorcycle-club style colors.Great beer, of several lowlands styles, at amazingly low prices. Most of the seating is outside, with beautiful canal views. If youíre a beer lover visiting Amsterdam, you must come here.

A nice brewpub, takets you like 15 minutes to get here by Tram from Central station. Five beers on tap, a few more bottles as I visited. Surprisingly crowded on an early wednesday afternoon. A special stand for the snacks, large barares, and a lot of seats indoors and outdoors. For sure worth a visit.

We visited t Ij with the hope of a brewery tour, ehich was closed though due to renovations. So we just had tasting options, which was very nice. Most of the breweryís beers were available. The prices were very nice. A very nice place to habg out and have some beers!

Easy to get to (by tram) brewery that is well worth the time visiting. Friendly, with reasonable prices. Small selection of snacks available. Think 5 beers of theirs on tap and several more in bottles. Nice outdoor tables also. Enjoyed the visit.

Beautiful location - itís in a windmill! Their house beers are quite good, and well-priced (cheaper to drink it there than buy it in the bottle in stores, so I found). I especially enjoyed their tripel (Zatte). If you want to do a brewery tour, youíll need to get there VERY early (we were there 30 minutes ahead of time and it was already sold out). Staff is efficient and keeps the beers coming, even when the place is packed. Worth a visit!
