This place is heaven! They have a huge selection of beer on tap, an even larger selection of bottles and a website listing the beers they sell which is always up to date. The staff is knowledgeable about their beers, and can answer any question I’ve thrown at them. They serve their beer in the proper glasses and often use the brewer’s own glass. The food is excellent--especially the pommes frites--and they have a reasonably priced menu with a very good happy hour. In addition they have a skylight in the roof which gives the place a really neat feel on a sunny day, they have outside seating (which is nice but can be really loud), and the hand-dryer in the bathroom really works!

Awesome beer bar with great service. Many taps with a selection focused on local brews (at least when I went). Nice whiskey list. Service was awesome. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a bar that serves you a glass of water without you asking for it and continues to keep it full as you drink. Seems like a pretty small point but it is much appreciated. The decor is a little dungeoney. Plenty of space to stretch out.

The bottle list here is ridiculous, and they had FW 14-18 on tap for no apparent reason other than it was Tuesday. Probably the best beer bar I’ve been to, up there with Porter Bar, Falling Rock, and Kulminator. Great service and prices were high on cellar list but about what I expect in Seattle area and for the amazing list. Prices keep bottles around longer, so as someone from out of town, I don’t mind spending an extra few bucks for stuff I won’t see anywhere else.
Going back tonight and will report back with food score.

Here for Goose Island Migration! Already packed and still filling. Nice place, amazing beer, no samplers or half pours. Didn’t try the food.

What to say about this place? Before I moved here I always wanted to go. Now that I am here, I only go for special events. The bar staff can be a bit stuck up but sometimes very nice. The lack of waitlist for a table and having to circle like a vulture is weird. Food is tasty though menu is smaller and lacks some choices. Plus 10% more than I want to pay. Beer selection is always good and some special events bring out awesome treats. I try to go to special events at non-peak hours.

Visited for lunch hours more or less, on Wednesday June 24, 2015. Sat in a booth with my friends. Walked over from Fremont, but should’ve walked since parking was better here and we ended up getting a ticket down by Fremont. Still, walkable distance for sure. Fairly big place with a big selection, though as a beer geek from Europe not a while lot frmo the selection screaming at me to get it. I remember eating here, but can’t remember what I had, so couldn’t have been all that special. I did fill up though, so that I can remember. Stayed for some food and the oe beer. No flights available. OK service.

We got there kind of early in the day and were some of the few customers there. At first the bartender was kind of stiff and minimalist. But later she warmed up and became helpful and friendly. The only food we got were the frites with aioli. We were 3 guys and the medium fries, skin on were excellent on the right amount for us, tho we weren’t super hungry. The aioli was very good not enough quantity. Great draft beer selection of local and regional stuff and bartender was knowledgeable. Great interior too, looks like it’d be fun on a busy nite or Sat afternoon.

Since there are so many ratings of this place and I have nothing particularly original or contrarian to say about it, I will keep this brief - excellent tap list - overwhelming bottle list - tasty food - comfortable and friendly, despite the decor giving off a rather pretentious vibe when you walk in - excellent place, and certainly a must-stop if in Seattle.

Last beer stop of the day that I could convince the other half to stop at. Figured I might as well go out with a bang.
Big bar/restaurant with tons of space to sit inside, outside, at the bar, what have you. Very clean and modern look and feel to the place. Lots of dark stained wood and stainless steel. Comfortable bar stools as well, a big plus.
The servers here were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately they don’t do tasters here and aren’t even really "allowed" to do just a splash of something if you’re unsure of (kind of annoying). But, there is a ton to choose from here between the 50+ taps and who knows how many hundreds of bottles.
Pricing is fair for the most part, though on some items I had to kind of roll my eyes...particularly on some of the Belgian imports (Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Rodenbach) and some of the US sour beers as well.
Regardless of the drawbacks, this is one of the very best beer bars I’ve been to. I could easily see myself being a regular if I was a Seattle resident.
