I could write here all the reasons someone would want to come here, but I’m afraid I would run out of characters. Cool location in Fremont, walking distance from other great stops. Limited seating, but it probably seems that way because their events are the type that draws a big crowd. Food is good. I get the breakfast sandwich every time, because it’s simple and delicious. The bottle list is insane, with cellar beer you will have trouble finding elsewhere. Expensive, but usually ends up being worth every penny. Probably in my Top 2 favorite places in Seattle to grab a beer. Best thing about it, every Saturday at midnight, they play Seal’s greatest hits for all to enjoy.

Visited on a Thursday afternoon in November 2015. Place wasn’t too busy when we arrived. Great range of beer from the USA and further afield. Tried a couple of WA beers and wasn’t disappointed. Service was good, place has a nice buzz around it and quite relaxed. Food was Ok. Definitely worth a stop.

Somehow, by dumb luck, I managed to make it here on Zwanze day. So happy I did. They have a great selection, but they seem to specialize on some of the more interesting import beers. I was lucky enough to have several Cantillon beers while I was here. Very solid service, and a great beer-focused vibe to this place. Would very happily come back.

Awesome beer bar with great service. Many taps with a selection focused on local brews (at least when I went). Nice whiskey list. Service was awesome. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a bar that serves you a glass of water without you asking for it and continues to keep it full as you drink. Seems like a pretty small point but it is much appreciated. The decor is a little dungeoney. Plenty of space to stretch out.

The bottle list here is ridiculous, and they had FW 14-18 on tap for no apparent reason other than it was Tuesday. Probably the best beer bar I’ve been to, up there with Porter Bar, Falling Rock, and Kulminator. Great service and prices were high on cellar list but about what I expect in Seattle area and for the amazing list. Prices keep bottles around longer, so as someone from out of town, I don’t mind spending an extra few bucks for stuff I won’t see anywhere else. Going back tonight and will report back with food score.

Here for Goose Island Migration! Already packed and still filling. Nice place, amazing beer, no samplers or half pours. Didn’t try the food.

What to say about this place? Before I moved here I always wanted to go. Now that I am here, I only go for special events. The bar staff can be a bit stuck up but sometimes very nice. The lack of waitlist for a table and having to circle like a vulture is weird. Food is tasty though menu is smaller and lacks some choices. Plus 10% more than I want to pay. Beer selection is always good and some special events bring out awesome treats. I try to go to special events at non-peak hours.

Visited for lunch hours more or less, on Wednesday June 24, 2015. Sat in a booth with my friends. Walked over from Fremont, but should’ve drove since parking was better here and we ended up getting a ticket down by Fremont. Still, walkable distance for sure. Fairly big place with a big selection, though as a beer geek from Europe not a whole lot from the selection screaming at me to get it. I remember eating here, but can’t remember what I had, so couldn’t have been all that special. I did fill up though, so that I can remember. Stayed for some food and the one beer. No flights available. OK service.
