One of my favuorite places in Poznan. The restaurant has served its own pilsener, honey brew and wheat since it was opened 2004. The selection is rather modest, but the beer served is some of the best I have ever tasted in Poland. The service is friendly, but in high season (all holidays + summer) you may expect to be kept waiting to have your order delivered. The food is really delicious (at least for anyone fancying Central European and "localised" Mediterranean cuisine), although the selection of all dishes has diminished over the years.

Wants to be posh and does not quite succeed, apart from the prices. Well, at least the food was very good, since service was mediocre at best and the beers were awful to mediocre. Avoid, I’d say.

Superb brewpub that has overnight accommodation as well. Outside there is a patio for drinking and eating overlooking the beautiful stary rynek. Inside there is a bar but the room to head for is the restaurant, normally open late afternoon/early evening where the beers are brewed. The beers are as the previous contributors mentioned plus a seasonal which on our visit was an American IPA

The beer is hit or miss, but you can’t beat the location. Try the pilsner, it’s fantastic. Avoid the porter like the plague. Food is overpriced.
