64 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 15/20
Visited a Saturday late afternoon - empty at first, but as the hours went by it became much more crowded. Situated in an old, but newly renovated former military building, in the centre of Szczecin, this brewpub offers a lot of atmosphere with copper kettles on display, and bar/restaurant on two floors. Selection is limited, as only their own beers are sold on the premises, two of them in German styles: A pilsener, a hefeweizen and an amber. The amber was by far the best of these three, but the beers were fresh and clearly craftsmanship. We did not try the food, but as well as the beers the food is dirt cheap by Scandinavian standards. Service varies a bit, some spoke only poor English, others were fast and service minded. Well worth a visit if you are in Szczecin.

Visited at lunch time mid July 2012. Small brewpub - almost no other visitors - with 4 open taps; schwarzbier, pilsner, hefeweissen and amber ale, all made on the premises. Good quality beer made by the book without standing out. Tasters available. Small lunch menu - very good value for money.
