Great place to go out in the weekends, live music and decent beer.

Grungy pub with odd smells and average at best beers to match. I can imagine this being a late night option if you find yourself downtown and/or buzzed and incoherent to the point that you don’t really care what you’re putting in your mouth. There’s a small stage for live music. The lady behind the bar was pleasant.

Nice little beer bar. Ambience is niece and the beers aren’t to bad. Went there on a Tuesday night and they had a live band. The prices rant that bad either.

Pretty decent beer, place is a labyrinth as previously described. OK service.

Quiet, old-style place with an attentive and knowledgeable service. I may not have had many beers there, but I surely cannot understand the quite hard criticisms I have heard about this place

A larger than expected brewpub in downtown Montreal. The interior has a lot of nooks and crannies so there are plenty of seats. The main level has a grungy pub feel while the downstairs is a nice lounge with some TVs. There is a nice shaded terrace on the main level too. They had 7 regulars on (IPA, honey brown, extra blonde, honey beer, strawberry blonde ale, nut brown, and scotch ale). I enjoyed the IPA, although it is more of a hoppy pale ale. They also have 4 seasonal beers, 2 of which I sampled (a IIPA and a ginger cream ale) and were very good. Beware- the beers are quite pricy. Only happy hour prices were listed on the board- $5.50/pint for regulars and $6.50 for seasonals. And a pint of Guinness was $8.75! Bartenders and patrons spoke mostly English. Overall, I was surprised by the quality of the beers (in contrary to ratings by prior posters, I found the 3 beers I tried to be very good) and certainly it is worth stopping here for at least one round.

Typique irish pub avec ce qui vient avec, bonne ambiance et bouffe confortable...La bière est malheureusement sans intérêt....Dernier recours.

I’ve never been much impressed by the beers (the IPA was pretty good), but it’s a decent place, especially for that neighbourhood. The food is quite tasty, and it’s not a bad (student-y) place to hang out.

Nice beer selection. Decent beer. Better than average food.
