In downtown Montreal. Place is usually quiet empty when I go there with few regulars that were chatting with staff. Not very attentive and especially friendly. Felt like was intruding their peace. Bit strange. Beers are hit and miss but of good value.

Not bad, not great. Beers were ok, but far superior to anything in the immediate area. I would go here again. Highlight of the expeirence was definitly the service. Attentive, knowledgable and polite. Again a decent spot. fyi- They seem to have a lot of bands that play here, which is def, a plus.

A pretty nice place for a beer at a quaint local place in the English side of Montreal. Nothing great out of the homebrew taps, but nothing bad either. Careful how you drive and where you park here, cops are douche bags (especially officer Silverman, unit 548, AKA Dudley Doosh-nozzle)

This place had a decent selection of their own beers. Of the two that I had one was good and one was mediocre. No complaints with the service. Not a bad bar with a good location in Montreal.

Only sought out this place due to the people I was working with, plane’s was delayed a day and their hotel was up the street. Friday night crowd in a the dingy downstairs bar. Average to below average beer. Nothing stood out nor did anything want to make me come back (although nothing overly offensive).

Certainly a large place, but even on a Sunday night when we were here, it had a fairly good crowd so the ample space was being put to use. We had already eaten before we got here so I can’t really comment on the food. I can comment on the beer. We ordered a total of four beers while there, and nothing was even really worth drinking. The best of the four is something I wouldn’t want to drink again even though it was a tolerable beer. There are definitely better places for beer in Montreal. Go to those places instead.

Ambiance has gone downhill - used to be somewhat unique, now it’s an average frat-bar feel. Service was decent, a little confusing sometimes as servers seemed to come and go wherever and whenever they felt. Selection was decent, although would’ve rather had another house brew than Guinness on tap. Some of the beers seemed to have been on for a bit - no reason to have your winter ale still on in June. Food was decent, nothing to write home about. Value-wise, the food was expensive but the beer was quite affordable. Overall, it was decent, but has definitely gone downhill over the last two years. The beers seem less inspired and they’re not varying things. Solid beers, but not something that is a must-go.

Cozy joint perched aloft over the quaint old hill street of Crescent in downtown Montreal. Truly warm and friendly, offering live entertainment later in the evening. I did not eat here, but some locals and visitors made for interesting chat - beer is the easiest way to open conversation LOL. Barside service great. I can’t trash the beer outright but it had, for me several faults, and I tried about five in one visit. Just seems like rushed or unfinished beer, perhaps not that well-structured. Simpler the style, better it was. Selection was squarely average for a small place in the general lower Montreal area. Sitting on the fence for value because some beers were rough... but the beer was VERY inexpensive, and I might go back some time around ten in the evening for some music and give a few more brews a chance. COZY place and NICE bar server (her name was Bam.)
