Our part of Toronto is immeasureably improved by Brydenís presence! It is a perfect local, for adults, for families with kids, for a post hockey game pint. Greta selection, knowledgeable staff and wonderful ambiance.

Finally popped into this place after reading about some of the selections for Ontario craft beer week. A cozy old place with a few lounge-type couches up front of a medium-sized dining room. The server was friendly, the food was awesome and the prices were good. I donít know what else you could ask for. Nice to see lots of Great Lakes stuff on tap too.

Update 2013: Food is good, and usually inexpensive for what you get. I really like the wings and their interesting take on a quesadilla. With Junction and Indie Ale House in the west end this becomes part of a potentially great pub crawl! Tap list ranges from just good to excellent depending whats on tap. Original: Been a handful of times now. It is a smallish spot with some character but comfortable. Decent selection of local micros and casks on. Typically at least one good Great Lakes brew on. Staff is friendly. Bit out of the way for me but probably the best spot in this part of town to get a decent beer selection.

Right next to the subway, nice patio, comfy chairs inside. Service was a bit slow, but the place was packed. Food is amazing, especially the nachos. They had some great stuff on tap when I was there, and the wait staff seem to know their beer. Iíll be back for sure.

This is my local. Inside sports a comfortable, relaxed, and dimly lit ambience with a couple games on the flatscreens. Mixed crowd minds their own. Food is tasty and well-priced and they always have something new on tap. The cask never lets me down either (usually a hoppy Great Lakes brew). Service is efficient as everything arrives in reasonable time. The beer selection is very good, though some of the taps - pale lagers, cream ales, etc - are a little pedestrian. Still, they get enough rotators to keep things interesting. Overall, Brydenís is one of the better options in the west end, and itís also worth considering if youíre staying at the airport (15 minutes away). A cool spot that Iím thankful to have nearby.

Great place, right across the street from Jane subway station. Good food, good food prices, great beer, rotating selection, always a cask on. Cheap and cheerful. Great spot. I love it.

My local boozer!! Small enough bar with 16 taps (4 or 5 of which rotate), and a cask. Small paitio out front too. Always a treat when I go, due to the rotating selection they have on tap. Bottled selection is a bit of a let down though. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is good value for money too!

2011. Visited on several occasions throughout this past year, though notably at the start of the pub crawl during Ontario Craft Beer Week. Itís a small bar but they pack in a mix-up of chairs and couches and everything in between. They serve a delicious pear-cheese quesadilla and other good appetizers, often for just a few dollars before 5pm in the week. The owner is hilarious and quite knowledgeable about beer, sharing his stories with patrons and friends alike at the bar. The beer selection itself is all good local stuff and in great condition. (We happily re-visited several times during the OCBW to get all the new casks that came out every day.) Would love it if this were my local but sadly have to put up with a commute. Great place to visit if youíre in the area. (4/10/11/10/9/13) 76%

Surprised I am the first to review this place. West end, Bloor and Jane. Parking on street meters. Smallish place, they make good use of the space. Also a small patio. Its new and the best is they always try to have at least one cask on, tonight Muskoka harvest, not a bad choice. At least fourteen taps on, the majority being craft choices including a feature craft. Too small to be a star place, but enough heart to be a rising star. Several bottles, Sleemans and the like in a cooler, and improvements can start there. Pints were as pricey as downtown. The scene was young and noisy, loud without earsplitting music.
