The name indicates the place is a brew house. There is a brewery inside but the owners does not care. Rumors says that they have been trying to sell it. Considering the name (brewery quay in english) they should have a better selection of bottled beer. This is not a beer place.

Nice pub and restaurant, but it has nothing to do at Ratebeer. Change the the name to "KAIA", it is no longer a brewery! (Bryggeri=Brewery) Ordinary Mack beers on tap. (Visited July 14th 2011)

They serve great food in a great enviroment, but they’re not brewing beer anymore. False advertising? Average service, VERY high prices. A few beers on tap, but they’re nor local or any good. Fraud.

Was looking forward to visiting here during my first trip ever to Bodø this week. Unfortunately, the beertender is in South Africa and they didn’t serve any of their own beers. What type of Brewpub is that? So I settled for some Mack beers from Tromsou that I hand’t had before but very dissapointing. Otherwise, seems like a fancy cafe on the waterfront. So probably great in other ways.

A very poor experience. Basically a restaurant trying to run a brewery on parallel. I say trying because for half an hour, the waitress could not get the line runnings. When she did, the maibock was under average and the weizen clearly had gotten damaged by the dirty lines, soured and metallic. And give or take 12 USD per pint on top of it. Very disappointing.

A modern medium-sized brewpub in the city of Bodø - a cosy, little town (about 40.000 inhabitants) a bit beyond the Arctic Circle in Norway. Probably one of the northernmost brewpubs in the world. Established early in 2005.
Last time I visited the pub in January 2006 they had an Amber and a bitter and well balanced Pale Ale on tap. During the springtime they will brew a Bayer and blond wheat beer. Good food is served both as lunch and in the evenings. Attracts a wide mix of people. Welcoming place with a pleasant atmoshere. Can be very busy in the weekends. Outdoor and very nice seating at the quay - a popular retreat on the few warm summerdays in the hight north. No smoking inside.
