Well, those three beers listed under "Beer available at Buddy’s" here at Ratebeer were the most interesting beers I saw when I visited. More than 10 taps, but at least 4 were off. This is a fair enough Irish pub as you expect to find outside Ireland. This pub even has a bust of Michael Collins! Do people in Uppsala know who he was? If not, is it important that they know? Irish pub in central Uppsala. Food was decent but a bit pricey. Beer selection better than expected but not too impressive

Just leave if you get the owner as bartender. Very unprofessional. I’m all about an informal, down to earth pub experience, but this guy really treats you like dirt.

A nice Irish pub in the centre of Uppsala. It used to be better but it has a nice pub feeling, good food and every now and then some really good beer on tap.

Good food and an ok selection of beers for a Irish pub but a bit too pricey. Friendly atomosphere but the beer selection seem a bit static. But are you looking for the Irish feeling and a pint of Guinness or Snakebite this is your place.

This little pub, opened in 2007, is a true gem in the otherwise rather sad beer desert of Uppsala. The owner, the irishman Buddy Mooney, has more than 30 year’s worth of experience in the bar trade. The selection is more than enough for most beer lovers. The food is fantastic, but the place can get busy on fri/sat and at those times, booking is essential. Sometimes, quiet live music may be enjoyed. The staff is very friendly and alert and they know their stuff. Large belgian selection.
