Quite a good offering for a grocery store. Probably about 50 bottles on offer, including things like Pressure Drop, Hammerton, Five Points, Wild Beer, Fullers. I picked up a Fullers Vintage Ale for a fiver. Good prices overall. Not a destination beer shop but a solid local option.

A few local brews in offer plus the regular big industrials.

Nipped in last week. Yes quite a lot of bottled ale. Not as many obscure London micros as I hoped, but they did have Hammerton and lots of By the Horns. Quite ok.

A very surprising beer destination. Looks like nothing more than a small franchise supermarket (which it is) but has a very impressive number of bottled beers on offer with particular emphasis on micros from London and thereabouts. Adventure beers have always been stocked when Iíve looked in. Also a regular outlet for the local, and rarely seen, beers from Little Brew as well as Moncada and plenty of others.

This place is great, for a supermarket, astounding. Huge selection of beers from a wide range of breweries (By The Horns, Meantime, Adventure, St Peterís, London Fields etc.) Be sure to check out the fridges too as they also have quite a range of lagers if thatís your bag. I play 5 a side football nearby so itís quite a useful one for me to pop into on my way home. As the previous review stated itís a franchise so selection will differ from store to store, but whoever is running this one is doing an incredible job)

It was quite a revelation when Chris suggested I call into Budgens to look at their beer stock on our way home from the Craft Beer Co., Islington one evening. They have at least eighty bottles, many of them rather interesting Ė e.g. wide selections from Adventure, By the Horns, London Fields, Moncada, Windsor and Eton and St Peters Ė and at good prices. Budgens is mainly a grocery store with fresh produce and staples so you can stock up on other foodstuffs too - a handy place to know of! Oh, and incidentally, itís a franchise so similarly good beer ranges wouldnít necessarily be available in other branches. (Visited 16 May 2013).
