Nice location if youíre staying at the Sheraton for some reason, but not too far from Copley either. Small and cozy with a good atmosphere. The tap selection is great for out-of-towners and the bottle selectionís decent too. Nice staff and awesome californian BLT. No complaints. Cash only but thereís an atm in the hall.

A- Bukowskis is a small bar close to the Berkeley school of music (and the strange music playing throught your stay attests to this). Even though it was pretty dead when I went (granted it was a wednesday night near 1 am) I loved the small, dimly lit atmosphere. Q- The beer I had on tap (choklat) was excellent, poured just right, in the right glassware, etc etc. S- The waitress seemed pretty unenthusiastic but that was probably because no one was in there. She was quick and friendly. S- Had about 10 taps give or take, there was 1 ale on cask however it wasnít ready when we got there and a good bottled selection.

Pub near Hynes. Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer. Small but decent selection. Food was pretty good. Charming little place. Cash only.

I recommend checking out this place for a real Boston experience. This is a dark, dirty dive bar with good, spunky serve staff and cool music on the speakers. Bukowski is definitely not a beer-first kind of bar, but the tap selection, while not extensive, is not short of good things to drink. There are locals, regionals and solid micros available. The menu looks pretty solid but I did not eat on my visit here. Come here to get a healthy dose of Boston and drink a good beer while youíre at it.

The Bukowski Tavern in Back Bay has a good range of taps with mostly local-ish beers, usually including one on cask. Itís a long, dark, narrow place overlooking the Mass. Pike. It feels a bit like a shack thatís been thrown together and Iíve never found it very convivial as it can get very crowded. On the plus side, it certainly doesnít have a corporate feel and the music has usually been to my taste, if rather too loud. (Last visited 23 October 2012).

This is a divey place with a great selection of local beers. When I was there they had 21 beers on tap and 17 were local. If youíre a tourist (like me) looking for some beer brewed in MA and surrounding states, I would stop here first. I think this place is under-rated on Ratebeer. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited this place twice while visiting Boston for the ACBF. Located near Prudential Center/Copley Center and the hotels surrounding. Be warned... CASH ONLY!This place is no nonsense. Food is burgers, sandwiches, wings, etc and pretty damn good. Everything after 11 is $5.95 and burgers 11-6 M-F are like $3. Tap selection was mostly local beers. Had a few cask ales available too. 99 Bottle available too from an ice chest that runs the legnth of the bar. My wife had a Victory Golden Monkey that had an expiration date in 2014, so Iíd assume it was pretty fresh. Atmosphere was mixed between people going to and from Red Sox games and some hipsters. Music was americana which I could have done with out. Prices were good for Boston.

Probably the best beer bar in Boston proper and an old school standby at that. The vibe is great and itís the right kind of dirty. Itís tiny and can get crowded but the selection though not worldclass is comforting for any beer nerd. There will be something you love or havenít had. Will if its crowded it can be hard to get a seat the bartenders have always been pro when Iíve been there.

Super small bar on the side of a parking garage but it really works for them. Laid back bar that was packed at lunch as people ate, we didnít. Good selection of beers that are mostly from the Boston area or other New England breweries. Service was very good. I could definitely see myself being a regular here if I lived up there.
