84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Steve_0 (72) Denver, Colorado | January 28, 2013 Seriously cool British style pub. The minute I walk in I feel transported to another place and time feels like it is standing still when I hangout here. The beer they brew won’t blow you away, by any means, but they still have some solid offerings and a pretty killer cellar list from breweries around the world. The food is great and I love the atmosphere. Great place to grab a beer and hangout or to catch a sporting event. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. | 86 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 jcnielsen (138) Kansas City, Missouri | October 5, 2012 Very neat British-style pub. The atmosphere is really cool. Definitely a brewpub worth checking out in Denver. | 80 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Terminus (278) Las Cruces, New Mexico | October 1, 2012 This place has one of the best settings i have ever been to-really dark, British style pub feeling here with 14 taps. Lots to choose from-big ipa’s to sours. However, some of their beer has massive amounts of diacytl, maybe to make it more authentic they do this but regardless of the reason, i hate the big D. However, a few of their beers were outstanding. I really dig the vibe here, just with the beer was slightly better. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 13/20 DiarmaidBHK (523) Pennsylvania | September 23, 2012 A British style pub where it’s forever 1971. Maybe it’s the wood paneling In the men’s room, but it just gives off a dated vibe. Of course to be a real English pub you’d have to have a ciggy machine, a couple of dodgy old geezers playing the slot machines, and a well worn baseball bat perched in a corner in case an argument about football erupts. The beers were mainly solid though it sucked their kitchen was closed and their recommendations for delivery were closed and deliver. It’s not a bad place but it’s not my top choice for good Denver hangs either. | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 craftbeerdesign (100) Alpharetta, Georgia | October 6, 2011 stopped in for lunch during GABF week. Inside is very dark and English pubish... they also have a outdoors patio which is really nice. tons of great beer - with many rarities during GABF week. you can get 3 4oz pours for $3 - good deal if you can’t decide. great food. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 16/20 onceblind (66) Denver, Colorado | August 20, 2011 VERY nice place to visit. The staff is friendly and helpful, the beer is always quality, the selection is always plentiful, you can sample everyone for a fair price, though individual pints are a bit overpriced. Food is slightly overpriced, but very tasty all the same. Typical pub faire, but very good pub faire. Feels as British as American establishments can get; low ceilings, wooden beams, a cozy fireplace area, a tasteful patio, a long bar...but with lots of tvs and loud music. Needs to be quieter. But the souvenir area is a nice touch. | 86 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 ontbeermaker (157) Ontario | July 29, 2011 Definitely one of the cooliest brewpubs I have been too. the food was good too. They had a lot of house beers on tap and I believe they had 1 or 2 guess beers, they had one from the breury I believe. Overall it was a really nice place. Would definitely be a regular if I was in the area. Might have made a regular out of my bro after stopping him in here. Really good stuff. Worth the stop, recommended. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 dionysus (10) Arizona | June 3, 2011 Awesome little find on my recent trip through Denver. Typical authentic dark pub atmosphere (which I like) and friendly staff. The bull and bush beers are pretty solid but what blew me away was the vintage beer list. I ended up getting a 02 La Folie, and drooled on quite a few others. I’m definately going to have to try to get back here to explore the rest of the list and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. (I’m surprised that nobody has mentioned the vintage beer list in their reviews which was the icing on my visit.... make sure you ask to see it because they don’t normally hand it out.) | 58 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 3/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 gabfjunkies (6) | February 18, 2011 My rating might seem low as I don’t think this place is terrible.
However, the beers here don’t really do it for me that often. The food is terrible and the inside of the place is dark and dingy.
Despite that I do go back a few times a year and the staff is friendly for sure. | 86 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 adnielsen (325) Fort Collins, Colorado | October 13, 2010| Updated October 22, 2010 Cool British-style pub near Cherry Creek with some above average beers. Definitely worth stopping by. |
