This will work if you can’t get to Green’s. No real rarities, but a good selection of seasonal/regional micros and some imports. The staff didn’t seem interested in finding a beer for me, telling me the one bottle on the computer was probably sold but I didn’t witness and searching going on for it.

I remember this store being great... not sure what happened. There is one aisle dedicated to 6 and 12 packs, one small aisle with some bombers, and some 6 packs and cases in a cooler on the back wall. The rest of the store was liquor and wine. Selection was okay... they had some uncommon grabs, and seemed to focus on having a large number of beers from a few brewers rather than a wide variety. Belgians and stouts dominated the bomber section. There were no singles. Prices were good to average, and nobody was on the floor. Cashier was an old man who acted like a monk under an oath of silence... he said hello, goodbye, and not much else. This is a good stop for some uncommon Uinta, Clown Shoes, DFH, and Belgian brews, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to find this place.

As already stated by others, this store mainly emphasizes wine and liquor, only a small portion of the store is dedicated to beer. However, someone in charge must know about good beer because the selection is extremely diverse and well-organized. The customer-facing workers didn’t have any beer knowledge, though, so it’s definitely "help yourself." Bring a smartphone with the RateBeer app loaded up, there’s lots of rarities to be had. Lots of bombers, seasonals, imports, rare states, etc. Lots of 12oz singles (some of which are refrigerated) though you definitely pay a premium. I always like scrounging through a clearance section at places like this, but unfortunately they didn’t have one.

Large warehouse type of store with a focus on liquor and wine. The beer is in refrigerators on the back wall, one aisle, and a small section of bombers. The service is lacking, with little attention paid to customers while shopping and a terse checkout. The selection isn’t bad. Lots of seasonals, anniversary beers, and plenty of craft and local beers. The prices are average. Overall, a store with ample selection, but not a great experience.

My "home store" if you will. The best selection in the area. Every once in awhile an employee will be helpful, other times not so much. Nice big cooler with lots of good craft selections along with the cheaper stuff. The wall in the back left corner of the store has lots of bombers and rarer stuff. Lots of good local seclections. Just picked up a 4 pack of Devil Dancer from these guys.

This store has a great selection. I go there often and have talked to a lot of REAL beer fans. I can never get out of this place in less than 30 minutes no matter how hard I try. have even talked to the employees and requested beers I don’t see often... and got them within a week if they were able to. Compared to Greens, if you live OTP then this a very suitable place for beer. Total Wine is the next best place esp. if you are wanting singles.

I was a little dissapointed that they didn’t really have the option to buy singles, but they had a nice selection of the big bottles in the back left of the store. Also, a good selection of local micros and quite a large selection of cold beer as well.

While certainly not a selection comparable to either Green’s locations in Atlanta, it is still far from shabby. If it’s a time issue for you or you just can’t be bothered to make the trek down to Atlanta, then Bullock’s in Marietta (the Woodstock location, on the other hand, is a joke) will do in a pinch. They stock all the micro basics you’ve come to expect in Atlanta: Lagunitas, Avery, Great Divide, DFH, Left Hand, Victory, Uinta, Weyerbacher. A fair selection of Belgian, German, and British brews as well. You may find these brews just a teensy bit cheaper down at Green’s, but you’ll definitely lose in added distance and gas costs. Everything beer related is packed in the back left of the store, with the relatively rarer 750’s and bombers hidden next to an ’Employee’s Only’ door. But hey, a tucked away beer selection is better than no beer selection at all, right? Update 1/16/12: A few recent trips have revealed the sad, unfortunate truth: Bullock’s beer selection is heading downhill fast. Really fast. The continually thinning beer selection is right on track with the banalization of the offerings.

Sentimental visit - this is the place I bought the first beers I rated over five years ago - Anchor Porter and Carlow O’Hara’s Celtic Stout. Beer is found in three sections - big cooler full of common sixers with a few local micros thrown in - then there is are large shelves with a lot of micro bombers and large sized imports - a few Belgians, some English - lastly - there is an entire "warm" aisle devoted to six packs of a lot of good micros from around the country - Victory, Lagunitas. Avery, Left Hand, Dogfish etc. All moderately priced. Good wde open - warehouse type store - staff was friendly - even at 10:45 at night!

Note there are two PubliX on Sandy Plains, you want the farther one 5-6 miles from 5 / Canton road! They were helpful with directiosn and multiple people asked to help. Not a bad selection of micros & int’l beers, but after working the whole Kennesaw area there were relatively few itens they had that couldn’t be had elsewhere or at Greene’s.
