This is a nice place. Really a restaurant that happens to have 30 beers on tap rather than a beer bar per se. Nice atmosphere, excellent food, big beer garden although it was too cold for any of that, good beer selection (although 20+ pale ales out of 30, could be more varied). Does cocktails and wine too which looked decent.

Nice dog friendly beer garden. I had an Old Rasputin here on a 100 degree day last summer - not a good choice. A few tap takeovers here have been ridiculously well attended with the "chase" beers getting tapped out 15 minutes after the start of the event. High prices, but that doesn’t factor into the rating on RateBeer. Parking sucks.

Love the food! Huge beer list! The problem with the beer list is just the standard stuff. Nothing unique and special. Really love the beer garden and the entire ambiance.

Went last night for a late dinner. The parking does kind of suck and the 7 bucks prepares you for the cost inside. The food was amazing, the sausages and grits some of the best I have ever had. I did have 2 desserts that were also outstanding. The beer selection was good but not crazy good. This is a good restaurant that has a good beer selection but this is not a beer bar. I did have a Pappy van Winkle 15 yr that was not on the Bourbon menu.

7-19-12. Finally visited the beer garden. Outstanding set up with a dedicated bar and all of their beers are available outside. Service could have been a little better. Serverseas a little inattentive perhaps because we got our first round from the bar. And the bartender had some attitude. The main issue remains the prices. With tax and tip the cheapest beer will cost you over $7.00. 6-11-12: Re-rate. Now that I’ve tasted the food, it confirms my previous comments regarding the B&B’s focus. Everything we had was outstanding: smoked & pickled olives, pork chop for 2 with blackened cauliflower and wild dirty rice sides. The confusion on the hours of operation has been solved: The restaurant opens daily at 5pm and the beer garden (separate side entrance) opens at 3pm M-F and at Noon Sat & Sunday and offers a very limited food menu. Bottom line: don’t come here for the beer as there are other places nearby that have better selections at a better price point. Come here for the food. 5-15-12: Visited B & the B within a month of it’s opening. In a nutshell, this place is culinary-minded establishment that happens to have a good beer selection, not the other way around, and I rated it on it’s merits as a beer place. It originally was open daily at 5pm and, by definition, did not, and from what I can tell, still doesn’t, have a happy hour. However, I see now from their website that they are now open at 3pm M-F and at Noon, Sat & Sun. Hooray! Although I haven’t eaten here, I have several friends who have and they rave about the food. Outside of the fact that the bar itself is fairly long, there isn’t much in the way of other bar seating. So, my group of 3 found ourselves standing at one of only 2 round cocktail tables. The outdoor patio was still under construction and looked as though it would substantially add to the seating capacity, at least during the 3 nice weather months. From the photo on their website, the beer garden is now complete and looks very nice. Prices for beer and food are high end. Beer selection stops short of stellar; the Stone Double Dry Hopped Ruination and Sierra Nevada Hoptimum were the two highlights. Parking can be an issue; there is valet for $7, metered street parking if you can find it and a parking ramp 1 street over.
