This place is fantastic. Great management and staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Exactly what you want out of a store, with great selection of beer and wine, the will steer you in the right direction but never pushy. The most accommodating place I have been, if they don’t have it they will find it for you, I am lucky enough to work at 1 federal st so i can sneak in all the time.

Solid selection in the middle og generic downtown Boston. They had a few things I hadn’t seen elsewhere making this a worthwhile stop if you’re nearby, or coming/going from South Station.

Do not let the name deceive you. Smack dab in the middle of Boston, hidden away from the dump known as Downtown Crossing on a narrow street is the Boston Wine Exchange. While it appears that their specialty is wine and champagnes, in the back of the store is quite a nice beer selection. Set against a hardwood decor is a nice array of craft beers ranging from BFM, The Lost Abbey, Element Brewing, Birra Del Borgo and Allagash. Considering their location, this place is pretty spectacular. Pretty good selection, very convenient.

A great addition to Downtown Boston - this wood-lined wine store has flat screen tvs and the standard "beer in the back" scenario. Very friendly service. Coolers of six-packs have excellent choices buried among the macros. Warm racks of rare singles, 22s and 750s around the corner. Some real rarities on last visit with average prices for the Boston area. BIgger stores exist in the Boston area, but location here is key for those who work in Boston or are in-town on a trip. You will definitely find something you have not seen elsewhere in Boston.
