Nice place, great outside seating in the interesting town of Poperinge. OK beer list.

The hoppe museum is around the corner, and worth the visit.

Normal bar in the center of Poperinge. Nice selection, nothing out of the normal, decent service and food.

We enjoyed an evening meal here, during which I was able to introduce friends from Surrey to great Belgian beers. The menu included local cuisine and trendy choices. Only lately have upscale American restaurants, like Cafe de la Paix, included great beers on their menus, but their selections aren’t as extensive as the beers on de la Paix’ list, so it’s always a treat to enjoy a nice meal with great and unique beers. We stayed at the Auberge Amfora (which we really liked) across the square from la Paix, so I can’t comment on the rooms, but the restaurant, garden, and bar area in de la Paix were very attractive. I would recommend Poperinge as the hq for exploring this corner of Flanders (the national hops musem of Belgium is down the street from de la Paix) and de la Paix is a great choice for an enjoyable meal.

Pretty good selection of beers and the food was good too. Good service. We also stayed in one of the hotel rooms above the cafe/bar.

Excellent cafe with enthusiastic service, good food and a superb choice of beer representing most of the local breweries (St Bernard, Van Eecke, Dolle, Struise) as well as other quality ales from the likes of De Ranke, Dupont etc. Not the cheapest place in town(for that try the Hommelzak), but possibly the best.

I sat here for several hours one Saturday night, completely on my todd, and was well looked after by the staff. Reasonable selection of beers, and help in choosing something appropriate. Nice enough - in most places this would be a great beer cafe, but in Belgium it doesn’t rank as anything other than average.

Very quiet on a sat night in Dec, just a few locals in there. Reasonable, but not extensive selection with Zatte Bie on offer. Modern interior. Worth popping in if you are in the area.
