These guys know their stuff. I’ll never understand the "they focus too heavily on Belgian beers" complaint because there are scores of bars in Amsterdam that serve Dutch beers. The atmosphere is unmatched and the service is always knowledgable and helpful.
Bottle heaven. Lots of wonderful stuff. Fills up rather quickly, which means that it is rather prone to e.g. stupid teenage out-smoked dorks.

Cosy brown cafe. The bar size compared to the space is a bit bigger but good place to sit around the bar. Halfway upstairs, just some stairs, but some cosy places but quite small. Good selection of beers, mainly Belgium but a big list that hangs on different plates on differerent walls. Some craft beers like Struise and some Dutch (mainly local (Oedpius, Pampus, etc)) beers (some Emelisse and De Molen) on the list as well. Prices are regular and nothing exceptional same with the beer list, nothing exceptional. Service is good, friendly and with fitting glasses. Nice bar which is fun to sit at looking into the alley and checking out the walk and talk of everybody passing by. Fun place to visit!
Small pub in Amsterdam, often filled with beerlovers. Lovely ambiance, pretty cozy. Bit of a brown pub feeling, yet it is definitely more a beer pub instead. Good service (despite the fact that some of the beers are being served a bit too cold) and a great choice of Dutch and Belgian brews at a decent price for the city of Amsterdam. Bathroom visits are quite hellish if you are a tall man. Be prepared to bump your head often.
Interesting small bar along a busy small street. Not much room, but a solid selection of European beers. Not that many taps, but considering the size of the bar it was very good. If you can find it, you should stop in.
