not a real big area but large enough for several tables. was busy when we got there and we were the last ones to leave. asked the server for a beer list which was out dated just from the tap handles i seen. settled on a west sixth and finished with a founders porter. our server (Kat) relatively new was quite good and charming. she paced us and kept up with our orders. the food was very good. several pasta dishes to choose from mine had a good amount of spice no complaints, all decently priced. the beer $5/pint was good to. the actual bar area is a big on the small side but gives you that homey feel. capped the night with some bread pudding which was quite tasty.

quite unassuming but a nice place. quality selection over quantity. Awesome service! the food has never disappointed, but the menu is limited. Great specials on Wednesdays if you like wine.

a lovely spot in the heart of the highlands area with a generally awesome tap and bottle selection. the food and service is always great, and i’ll never get bored with the atmosphere.

Nice place with modern decor, some TVs and such. Service was good, considering the size of our party. My main complaint here is the lack of appropriate glassware. Everything was poured into a standard shaker. For it’s size, the selection was quite good and full of nice craft beer options, including BBC, Avery, Bell’s, Stone, Ommegang, Schafly (St. Louis), Rogue, Unibroue and Dogfish Head. Food was very good. Beers and food were fairly priced. A good date spot with great food and beer options. Their beer list is on their website, and no, they didn’t have expedition stout on tap.
