Easy enough to find. Looks lovely on the outside & even better on the inside. Not that big, quite comfortable, there appears to be a terrace here but I didn’t go and look. Wooden furniture, roses hanging from the sealing, red colours everywhere, I suppose one could call it even romantic. Service was friendly, apt & available in at least Dutch & English. Lovely place done with care. Too bad that the prices were way too high, at first I though that this was because I am in Bruges but Cambrinus which is right around the corner offered normal prices. Beer selection is quite good & interesting (I didn’t see anything new to me at first glance) but really the prices. Beers on tap 4 €, most beers noticeably more expensive than I am used to, the specials were painfully expensive, La Trappe O.A. 28 €, bigger bottles of Dochter van de Korenaar starting at 20+ €, Struise Rio Reserva 55 € etc. Everything else is great but that is just overkill. I heard a table nearby talking in disbelief about the prices as well.

Visited on Xmas eve 2013. The place was very tranquil, almost empty bar a couple of guests hanging about. Perfect after a bit of a rough flight to Brussels and horrendous driving conditions from there. The selection on tap was between five beers, we had three which was brilliant. Definite highlight was the St. Bernardus Christmas Ale, which had been aged for a year. Nice finger food. Great service. Personally I enjoyed this place way ahead of the more busy and touristy Cambrinus.

Lovely set in a small street, the interior is mainly dark wooded with roses (plastic) hanging from the ceiling which gives the place some interesting and different ambiance. The service was friendly. Value was it is similar to most places in Brugge, which is acceptable pricewise. Did not taste the food therefore no markings here. Selection is large and overall one can say a nice place especially for a quite afternoon drink.

Special, but nice, atmosphere with loads of roses in the ceiling. Not a huge selection, but what they have is really nice. Had a Chimay Spéciale Cent Cinquante and a few others. Good service. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice little cafe attached to a hotel. Cozy atmosphere. Good and friendly service. Had Troubadour Westkust from tap. Black Albert was also available. Prices are ok. Recommended.

First stopped in at Brugse Bertje and they had 4 taps, the most exotic of which was Chouffe N’Ice, which I like, but decided to look further. Went to Cambrinus next and they had lots more taps; sat at the bar, got the beer list, and they were generally all blondes and bruins of no particular pedigree, so moved on to Cafe Red Rose, where they had five brilliantly chosen taps; I had a Lapin Triple, a Delirium Deliria, and a Black Albert. Service was wonderful (the people were all wonderful - - long conversations about beer), ambiance was great, beers were outstanding - - as far as I’m concerned, this is the ONLY place to go in Bruges central if you are interested in beer, as opposed to just tourism (though DeGarre was closed tonight, and I’ve enjoyed my times there in the past, especially the house tripel).

Went there close to closing time - good atmosphere with many beers ( insanity for a hotel - need a room ? Book here ! )
Staff isnt bad , bust hasty . Maybe it was to buisy ? The daughter of the owner was lovly though ! ( not onley the looks , she was realy up to date about the beers and helpfull , making time etc )
For a hotel , its insanity
For a random place , its definetly above average . Nice !

This was a great little find. A little too late in my stay sadly. Nice chilled out beer garden for those who like some escapism. Great beers on offer from the tap. From my chat with the owner it sounds like this range is rotational with some real treats dropping in. The De Dochter Embrasse was going on the night I dropped by.
