Certainly my favorite place in Brugge, it’s a cozy and fairly popular place with great decor, a really good atmosphere and excellent knowledgeable and friendly service. The beer selection is certainly quality over quantity with a nice selection of lambics and rather than just the obvious good Belgian beers, the selection has many less usual but still excellent bottles. All with very fair prices too. I could hardly bring myself to leave!

Visited here during Brugs Bierfestival 2015. It was really crowded, but we were able to find a seat afterall. Had a great session there, some vintage lambics combined with good Belgian ticks and good service. Selection is very decent, like said it’s a combination of Belgian ticks (not the regular suspects) and lambics, some of which were aged. Great atmosphere, with a mixed crowd of people coming in to enjoy some beers. Would definitely visit this place again!

Very nice belgian Beer cafe with nice atmosphere and staff. Just five beers on tap, but a great variaty of bottled beers. Also some specials like aged beers (e. g. Rochefort 8 anno 2011 @ Dec 2014).

visited this place during a day trip to Bruges. Unfortunately I was driving so I have to be extremely picky for my one beer! Had a nice 3 year old bottle of Orval. I’d certainly go back when I don’t have to drive. Great little place a few minutes from the main square. Service was brilliant. Shared a mixed cheese and meats platter which was fantastic and reasonably priced. I believe they serve hot food as well so perhaps I’ll try that next time. All in all, a great place to go to in Bruges, be it for one beer or many.

Great little bar. Selection is more than decent, it has been meticulously selected as it only shows thé best Belgian brewers (in the sense of craft & traditional). Every type of beer is represented. Prices are in the higher region, but you get an impeccable service: knowledge is good, assistance in beer choice, pouring is done with the utmost attention, perhaps a small advice that not all beers need to be fridged. A nice lambic selection as well. Atmospjhere as well as the ceiling and wooden furniture are well thought out and are well maintained. This is a must visit in bruges. Went there with +/- 20 colleagues on an off-site before x-mas holidays. Those Stille Nachts still hurt :-)

Headed here for a final drink of the night on a Friday and it was like most other places full - at least in the first room with the bar, there was nobody in the other side which looked more like the restaurant part (so we were not too keen to sit there). The barmen managed to find us some room to sit at the bar and entertained us for the half hour we were there with our drinks. The selection is decent with both tap and bottle options and the atmosphere cosy and convivial.

Stayed at the adjacent hotel for two nights, so we spent some quality time in this lovely cafe. Atmosphere is cozy and a bit quiet compared to most bars in the area. Rose Red is a very relaxing cafe. Selection is quite nice, if you’re into Gueuzes there are a number of great specimens to try here, altough I think De Kelk has even more. Will definitely return to this cozy cafe!

Nice little cafe with roses hanging upside down off the ceiling. Good beer setting with lots of wood and friendly and knowledgeable staff who never hesitate to give suggestions for which beer to drink next. Their selection is pretty good with some pretty rare stuff. Prices are average for Bruges, msybe a little high. We hsd broccoli soup and it was delicious. Certainly a place I would return to.

Cozy place just off the main city center. Service was very good. The selection of Belgian beers is quite good plus a couple of ones I have never heard of. Prices are a bit stiff but quite reasonable. Place has a good vibes that seem to enhance the beer. Well worth a visit.

Visited on Friday 17th October 2014 around 9/9.30pm.
The place was fair booming but we managed to squeeze into the only available table.
Crowd was largely locals and we chatted to a few guys, who by no means beer geeks, knew their beers.
Service was really good, prompt and attentive at the table and he found me a Flemish red tick straight away.
Solid enough list, no massive rareties but happy to catch up on Struise Ypres Reserva having foolishly ignored this at BBF last year thinking it was the base beer I’d already had!
Decor is cafe style with red roses on the ceiling, we found it pretty much as the picture above other than the place was packed!
Just outside the centre, 3 to 5 mins walk from various other bars of note such as De Kelk, ’T Brugs Beertje, the Trappist and Gambrinus.
Well worth hitting this place up, top 3 venue in Brugge for me.
