Just by the Arco de Cuchilleros, the oldest part of the famous Madrid’s Plaza Mayor. Two-storie dog-friendly belgian beer bar, where you can enjoy some mussels and fries along with your ale. Prices are quite high, though.

a bar near the tourist trap center near sol and the plaza mayor. you will find a good selection of belgian beers (as the name would suggest), especially the trapists. it reminds me a lot of an old authentic belgian bar (bruin cafe). never had food there, can’t rate. prices are okay given it’s centric location. not an exciting beer(tick) place, but decent.

Small bar with a nice terrace just off Pl Mayor. Nice to sit and people watch with a glass of Belgian beer. Excellent friendly service with free crisps. Standard selection of Belgian beers with the Westvleteren (Extra 8 and 12) being the exception. First taste of this for me so thank you.

Went there for their "house beer", Misty Blanche. A very small pub in strict center of Madrid, with great selection of Belgian beers, including Westvleteren. Service was very friendly. Yes, it is expensive, but well, at least some beers are worth it. A must for Spanish beerlovers, less so for foreign beerhunters, but everybody can find something for sure.
